Donkeyfumbler
Really nice review from PC Gamer - guess they liked it http://www.pcgamer.com/review/xenonauts-review/
StellarRat
That is really good! The best games only get 95% (we're talking CLASSIC games like CIV 4 and Skyrim). Quoting: "With deep strategic systems, omnipresent dread, and clean turn-based combat, Xenonauts is a triumph of rebooted game design." - PC Gamer Edited June 20, 2014 by StellarRat
KevinHann
85 sounds good, hope it boosts sales! Anyone have an idea how well Xenonauts is doing on the market?

KevinHann
Hopefully it's good as in "multiple expansion plus sequel spawning good"!
Jean-Luc
Looks like all of the Kickstarter money was spent on bribes. Love this quote: "Every time a crop circle goes unanswered, for example, that might be one less jet fighter you can put in the air." dpelectric
Wow. Two major reviews in one day, and neither one of them had a single really negative comment. That's impressive
StellarRat
XCom:EU got an 87 and Skyrim got a 94 for some perspective! I'd say GH has done very well indeed.
Chris
I'm very pleased with that review as I imagine it'll also go in their print magazine, so should reach a wider audience than just the normal online crowd that know about us. 85% is a very good score, too. Higher than I was expecting.
Solver
Amazing result, congrats! PC Gamer is one of the most important reviewers out there and a 85 from them is very, very good.
StellarRat
The Armchair General has excellent reviews. They're not as quick as some of the other sources, but they're how I found out about Xenonauts in the first place. I'll be waiting impatiently for theirs. My guess is it will score in the mid-80's with them too.
thothkins
Congrats on the 85%. If the scoring is anything like I remember it to be, that's good indeed.
Commissar Pancakes
Congrats! I'm currently waiting for the RPS and Polygon reviews.
sectoid
so happy to read this great news! and i am very happy playing this game.
Shima
85% is very very solid! I'm very happy this game turned out to be success
Cingal
Congratulations on the score! Thus far this is putting the game's first few metacritic reviews at 80, 80 and 85%. Which is quite exceptional for an indie game.
dpelectric
This review hasn't been included on Metacritic yet; is there typically a delay period? Edit: And the one in the Italian online magazine that Giovanni mentioned hasn't been either Edited June 22, 2014 by dpelectric
Xintrosi
My favorite quote: "It’s good looking, but the aerial combat mode is just one more way for you to get your people killed." The lack of faith in my air-command acumen is highly appropriate (and amusing!) Grats on the excellent score! I've been recommending the game to my friends all the time. Unfortunately, they're just not strategic thinkers that like this kind of game :-(
Dandywalken
Solid reviews! Congrats, devs!
Gam
Well done! I would expect that all the reviews would score Xenonauts between 80% and 90% (or 8 to 9 whatever). Gam
Aiscalp
Out of Eight PC Game Review here http://www.outofeight.info/2014/06/xenonauts-gameplay-review.html "In the end, Xenonauts is an addictive remake hindered a bit by occasionally pedestrian AI."
ViniJones
As a pedestrian I find that comparison offensive. "The tactical battles are challenging, but more because your units usually die in only one shot rather than advanced AI" Yeh
