I just learned that you could just take the little counters down through zero to get to a maximum on the other side. I was watching Wolfy's let's play when I noticed that. I'd never even thought about it. D'Oh

That's probably more of a bad design for X-Com though that so many missed that feature entirely, it wasn't clear that it was even possible to do and you kind of had to accidentally stumble upon it.

X-Com* is my favourite game of all time. I was such a fan of laser Squad I actually bought my first PC primarily for X-Com. So I've played it a lot. And I never knew you could do that! lol

*or UFO as we used to call it in the old days before this internet thing took off and we started using the American name for the game.

I played the original on the playstation in the UK so I have always known it as x-com: enemy unknown.

I always figured that was a bug that got left in because of its usefulness rather than an intentional feature.

Yes, mostly because the robot chef ninja curbstomps himself by being a robot and a chef at the same time but also because pirate > ninja.
