I have been a PC user since the VIC 20 days, and have used bigger screens, as they have come available, so I am looking for 4K on a larger screen. If it is possible to provide option for players on various devises, all well and good, larger market makes the game more profitable, and hence a next incarnation of this great game more likely!!! -

Can't there be a TU bank, as there is for shooting, and over-watch, a preset notch on the time units register, for this type of activity. -
I am just wondering if we are trying to make a sub game, or should we be looking for a means to bring about a ground tactical battle, which is what I like about X1. If this air combat sub game is on a different learning curve from the ground tactical combat game, their could be conflict in game genera!! which would appeal to some but not all. CHOICES.

Multi tile units would be great but, for expediency maybe we should leave that to the modifiers, so we can get the game in a working condition first!!

As I have stated in the past, service ribbons, and medals, at great for showing others that you are a valuable member of the team, that is in belonging to one, but it should also be an indication of the level of proficiency that a soldier has achieved in any craft that he has trained in. -

Congratulations! Looking forward to the developments installments, I have been a keen player of this genre since the early 1990's with "Enemy unknown" and all of it's following incarnation. Great to be getting back in the saddle!! -

Medals and ribbons are all to great, for parades after the action, but if they added some benefit to the soldier that has acquired them, this would more colour to the game. They could add more morale, or specialized skills for equipment and weapons! As in X1 medals for various actions, as per number of enemy kills, and or certain operations completed. -
If there was a number of research categories, and you assign your leading scientist to those categories, with all others being assign under them, you would have a little of both!

As the weapons that are being used in this game, like the AK47, m16 armalite and Self loading Rifles, all come with bayonets. That could be a good start for a melee weapon??

Proposal for UI (increase size of soldier panels)

The UI should provide enough info on your troops and surrounding, without cluttering up the screen. If this info could change depending of the combat suite you were wearing, more advance suite would provide more or better battle field stats!! -

In relation to this £100 tier, I was thinking of the £35 tier, plus a special item, which could be any of the weapon classes, including Alien ones, and or Armour, and other protection devices. Then there could be the recruitment of a 1) Soldier, 2) Scientist, 3) Production Manager, or some other person with a higher level of skill sets, to join the team. -
Sad loss, For as a young boy I traveled the universe, on that Five year mission, and beyond!!!
