Kreny
Just in case I press end turn by accident... but how often do you press end button by accident in compare with end turns pressed on purpose? This will just slow down everything. But if it would be optional, why not
ElTee
Yeah, I'd be fine if I can turn it off in Options. I can see it happening to me once or twice.
Gorzahg
I haven't pressed it by accident... yet. I'm just asking because of bad experiences I've had with other games that have a poorly placed end turn button. Most TBS that I've played have end turn confirmations. Andeerz
Oh god... I've pressed it by accident several times. WORST EVER.
HWP
There's a versatile option, I think - the end-turn button should end turn without confirmation if all your units either have moved or have less than, say, 30% of their AP left. Otherwise it would take you to the next unit that hasn't moved and has over 30% AP remaining. Repeat click ends turn. Or, a safer option, takes you to the next available unit. Sort of a mix between individual-unit end-turn and global end-turn. Double-click ends turn without confirmation. Definitely no to a pop-up "are you sure?" dialog, that's annoying. thothkins
It's not something I've done in this one, but I have done it once or twice in the original. Duh! So it's the usual "optional is fine, but I'd rather the effort went into other things." opinion on this one. Certainly not as a default though. That would be very annoying. Or how about clicking on the "end turn" button on the UI demands a confirmation, but pressing the keyboard shortcut ('t', I think?) doesn't? It works that way in FiraXcom for Overwatch. Chris
If we did this, it'd have to be a pop-up "Are you sure?", although it'd be possible to make it situational so it'd only ask for confirmation if you had a troop that hadn't moved etc. But even still it runs the risk of annoying more people than it helps... HWP
If that's a technical limitation, could such a popup at least be placed close to the end turn button (ideally right over it) and not in the center? Central popup would probably be so annoying that it isn't worth doing at all.

Gorzahg
I think the best decision is to have a hotkey that ends the turn without needing confirmation, while clicking end turn requires a confirmation.
Gorlom
ugh hotkeys! I want a toggle in the options if you are going to force a confirmation onto me!!!

venomxxx
Maybe make the end-turn button only react to double clicks =)
