  1. It would be a nice touch, if different screens were used at loading times.
  2. All of these modules should be fixed to the proper component or to the uniform??

Why is it that some objects seam to explode so easily, with only a couple of bullets and the whole place goes UP, one could expect the gas station to explode after the petrol lines and pump hoes are broken or cut, for the fuel to ignite. if a spark come in contact with it, otherwise, it should just lay there and evaporate, witch is what actually explodes with ignition. I know that it looks great, but it should not happen so frequently. It is somewhat reminiscent of old American movies of a certain genre!!!
  4. One of the biggest troubles with Drugs is the come down time, Yes great at the start, but how long do they last and when the effect wears off what happens to the soldiers after? They would be a double edge weapon, and their is always a price to pay?
  5. I would concur with this idea, as you say it would offer more variety to the crash site, and more options for entree. We will have to see what the developer come up with, but it is a sound idea?
  6. It would be nice if you could lean out, take a shot and dart back behind cover.
  7. Why is it that civilians in this game seem to have a preference for jumping through windows and not go through doors, one can appreciate a person who is desperate to get away, to do some dangerous things, as jumping through a windows is very dangerous, you could be cut to pieces. One would think that if a door was close at hand, and not barred by an Alien, that would be the obvious place of departure. In this game they seem to do it when not confronted by nearby Aliens. I hope that this is something the game developers are working on, as it has not been appoint of discussion so far??
  8. This back pack concept is absurd, as the mods should be placed on the equipment that they enhance, and not in some bag on your back, that doesn't even feel right, never mind look right??
  9. There was a stun grenade in the past, but it was removed back in version 18 (I think) and it was very useful in capturing aliens, just throw one or two into a room with the aliens and wait, all to easy.
  10. Well in my army days, I fired an M203 and a M79, and I was able to put a 40mm grenade into a couple of large truck tires, from 200 meters, so you should be able to fire the HEVY further than what it is doing in the game.

Having these wonderful modals is great, but they should be attached to either your webbing, uniform, weapon or pocketed, not just put in your back pack, it is so pedestrian, and holds back the reality of the game, if this game is going to get there, the costumes that are portrayed on the scream need to more in keeping with want player would expect!!
  12. This is a problem that has plagued this game for awhile, and they may get around to fixing it before the games public release.
  13. In the missions that require you to pick up the VIP, you are not informed that you will need to rearrange your back pack as you can't do so in the game, so that you can fit him in, so that the only option is to kill the VIP. Is there on other way to digitally portray this on the screen, as in having a trooper with the VIP slang over their shoulder. This would mean to create a digital figure that show this, and I think it would look cool, and also you could use this to pick up wounded fellow soldiers, and return them to the aircraft.

For the most part, one would think that civilians would try to move away from danger, but in this game they move all over the place, that may occur with a small number, as they a stricken with terror, and not thinking strait, but surely others would just try and get to safety, or at lest run to the friendly forces, that doesn't seem to happen all to often. It is a bit annoying when civilians run into the mouth of death, as they will move into an Alien ship, with no weapons, and to do what? It would be nice if the algorithm that predicates their movements could make this activity a little more real, and I know that real is a bit subjective, but it would make the game, a more enjoyable for the players. IMO.
  15. At this time the only place you can store modules is in your back pack. I would have thought that an aiming device would have been better on the weapon, than in your back pack, or it could be attached to your helmet. Why is amour not attached to the outer side of your uniform, and for that matter all other modules, that should be attached or place in areas that are beneficial to the trooper that is carrying it. The soldier lay out screen should be a bit more user friendly, and look like what the soldier will appear in the game. Their should be more pockets, pouches and harness, for these accoutrements, as you only have to watch the war in the Ukraine to see the the combatants have a multitude battle harness. It would be nice if as the game progress, that the new amour, have some of these benefits.
  16. You can Avoid night engagements, by just waiting for the sun. You will generally get a couple of days to send a ground party, so it is not urgent that you set off immediately.
  17. It would be very nice if the Troops in the game were able to go prone, as it is part a basic training to make yourself as small a target as possible. But that would introduce a lot a new variables to the games program, so although it would be nice, in practice it would be a long time in coming.

Well if you have played this game as long as I have, you will get a good knowledge of the map layouts, as there are not to many to memories, now that could change if a lot more maps are added, and that would be a good out come, but as it stands now there are only one or two layouts per bio-dome.
  19. There are all ready Flash bangs grenades in the game, the one under the HE grenade, on the equipment screen.
  20. That Desert is looking a little arid, they should be more foliage.
  21. Proximity grenades, would be a great way to defend an area that you are not watching at this time, but would be a good warning!
  22. It used to be that if you were in control of the craft, and you had not eliminated all the aliens, you would win the mission after a number of turns.
  23. It would seem to take longer to repair an aircraft, than to build a new one, why would that be??
  24. It would seam that there is some confusion with X-1 and X-2, as X-1 was a long time ago, and we are only working on X-2 NOW!!
