  1. If you make and win the special Terror Missions the Panic Level will decrease. The same if you win the Base Missions. That´s what I know after done such Missions. The others Things are already announced. Normal Missions dosen´t decrease the Panic Level atm. But it could be maybe if it´s get in.
  2. @Bayonet12: There are some Things which the Game need (like the orbital Bombardement and Stress System) and the Public haven´t seen yet. The Problem is that if we don´t bring that in or is already implemented Xenonauts 2 haven´t been needed. So the Players have to use what they get. XCOM and XCOM2, Phoenix Point and similar Games weren´t so good if such elements wouldn´t be implemented and hardcoded.
  3. The Save / Load-Solution is that you save the Game and load the Groundmap directly. That we did exactly in V15 if such happend. Tested some Maps now and all works fine and if some small Problems show up the Save / Load-Solution is the key. If you have that Problem permanantly, update your Graphics Card, Sound Card, Windows etc. to the newest Drivers and experiment with the Full Screen, Halve Screen etc. Modus. Win 10 and the Soundblaster as well as NVIDIA-Automatics inform me when it´s time for Updates automatically.
  4. Testet some Maps and don´t have that big Problems. In Day Missions such Problems don´t come up. In Night Missions there are some tiles which don´t get as seen marked, only if you step in the darkness. Solves with the announced Save / Load Solution.
  5. Cool annauncement Chris. I like the Idea, because the Game lives with Gameupgrades, like we see in the Predecessor with the Community Editions. DLC´s or Expansion Packs are a must have for such cool games like XCOM, Hearts of Iron, Battletech or Xenonauts.
  6. We had such a similar Problem long time ago, I think with the Weapons for the Fighters. Some players could outrun it after they produced the Aircraft Weapons later. The Problem here could be the same. I will try to build the Hospital later again at the End of the Month (now on 13. January) after more R & D is done, because the CTD comes in my game too if you build it up on Gamestart. I think there is a trigger, when you can build up the Hospital, because the first UFO´s (Scout) are easy to handle without getting hit.
  7. Hmm... that seems still to be a map Problem or with the new Day / Night-System after the big Map Rework was done. Works the Save-Load-Management to manage this Failure. If I had this Problem in fully V.14 and V.15 I used this solution.
  8. Will test it, have begunn the new Test very late (Monday or Yesterday) and have only tested the new Managementsystemchanges as well as Tooltips. Yep, you both are right. That´s not good, so we have to wait for the Hotfix, because more testing make no sense without that room.

  10. @KOKON: If you are a active Beta-Tester you would know what already of your Idea is implemented and belongs on Xenononauts R & D-Things. If not, let you surprise in the Early-Access Lauchnch.
  11. Odizzido, could be an great Idea. Because there is something which isn´t implemented yet. It´s called Special-Missions or similar. We will see when this Missions come in, but I belive not before February.
  12. Will be fixed in Beta 16, which evtl. comes in the next time. Btw. Cool new Transport, havent Researched it since my Gamethroughs.
  13. To Christmas we have 6 Days left incl. Weekend. If it comes to 24th Dezember, I would have a big smile. In that Time missing things can be implemented and Devtestet to 23th Dezember and uploaded for 24th Dezember.
  14. MrAlex I know what you mean, so I do that too, if I wait for a new big Beta-Version of the Game like now and / or an change of scene. And I know the other Reson too, there are Branches which haven´t a break in Corona-Time (Game-Industry, Office-Workingthings like Insurance & Jugdes, Recycling-Industry etc.). So I can feel there with you fully too. But I can understand other People too, because the most People don´t know what to do (Heavy Industry, Buildup Industry, Retail Sale and many more), which get bored to the death about Short-Time-Working or no Work anymore for a long time. Esp. if they haven´t family or can´t see them about hard restrictions. So they wanna have something to do and if it´s only Testing an Game in Beta-Status like Xenonatus 2 or an Early Access-Status for Ballance-Work, more Bughunting etc.
  15. You are not allone. I did the same Mistake in my first Playtest and rememberd then: "Oh the Radar-Things get changed and I have to research first for longer Ranges and better Dedection.". If you were in a flow with the Versions before Beta 14 or 15 then that can happen. Many new Researches will get text first, so we all (expect Goldhawk and Chris) don´t know that. But most of it will be clarifyed in Beta 16.
  16. Nope MrAlex. That Infos will come with Beta 16 when it comes out like in all Versions we testet before. If we get lucky, we will get the new Beta as a Christmas Present or shortly before. Means that we have something to do, because we can´t do anything else in the Corona-Time, esp. in Countrys where the Corona-Laws are very high (sitting at home, no Familiy Visit etc.).
  17. It´s not a Bug it´s a Feature. You get better Radar-Versions with R & D. After you get a new Building (like the bigger Cousin of the Standard-Radar) and build it, then you get the second ring improvement, if you have enough Power to run it. After that bigger improved Radar is build up, then you can sell the Standard-Radar [scrap the old building or cut it from the Energy-Line]. The same Effect you have with the third Ring [R & D]. Short said: You need only 1 Radar for a base and you can upgrade it with R & D [either you get a new building or upgrade the existing one]. Hope that helps, because it´s not announced in the Game yet.
  18. Exactly Chris, that´s why UFO ET haven´t had this announced Feature too, because it isn´t manageable in such a Game with 3 tactical Parts (Geoscape / tactical Airfight / tactical Groundfight). Only Firaxis with XCOM 2 WotC and Phoenix Point take it upon oneself to test some Parts of that Idea.I´m playing both Games too, so I try to explain that as good as I can. The Firaxis-Studio: In XCOM 2 WotC there are some Missions in Terror-Defense against the Aliens and Advent, where Ressistance-Soldiers help you to defend the small Village or what is it called. The AI get the Ressistance Soldiers automatically, you can´t give Orders to them. The Firaxis-Studio: In XCOM 2 / XCOM 2 WotC there are Missions to Secure / Pic Up an Person and his Bodyguard. The AI controlls them until you get in the Ring and get full Controll. Here the same, you can´t give Orders to them until you get full controll. The Phoenix Point-Developer-Studio [Gollop Brothers, the original X-Com makers]: In Phoenix Point you have similar Missions like in XCOM 2 / XCOM 2 WotC with the same Effect. There are other normal Strategy Games / Shooters (like Stellaris, Hoi, the new Empire of Sin etc.) which try that Idea in an Geoscape or only Tactical Map. It dosen´t matter how good programmed the Game is and which Patch or DLC it have, such a complex Feature isn´t manageable. Paradox and others trys that with her Strategy-Game / Shooters since Years or Decades. Either they reduce the Feature on an very easy way (like we meet here and then we go in togehter or we come to help in the fight [AI and Player togehter] or they cancel it. Kokon, you see what I mean. The Idea is good, but not manageable. Such a complex Feature the AI can´t handle or you make the Game so complex that the Human Player can´t handle it. Somehow or other you have to choose 1 of that. But don´t be upset about that, Chris and his Dev-Team have some surprisses for the Player in the drawer with military, police etc. AI. It´s not implemented yet, but it´s cool and give the Game more action after it´s in.
  19. Belongs on the Jetpack. If it‘s like shown in Knight Rider or similar Series / Movies of course. If it’s shown like in Star Wars or better Movies/ Series then not about a faster maneuverability not getting hit like in the Airfight.
  20. That means the Hulls aren’t destructible anymore with C4 and other explosives to get an emergency Entry to get in the UFO, if the Aliens secure the Main-Entry?
  21. Thanks for the Update as well as the announced new Version V.16. Hope that it comes on Christmas-Time again (like V.15 on my Birthdaytime). If it works like announced it would be the best Present for us all on Christmas, , esp. with the hard Christmas Time this year. Then I wait for the new Version, before testing again.
  22. If you go to such a Number with the Mousecursor then the Region get framed (f. e. Europe, South America) and shows exactly like Chris explained. The Ground-Idea for the Panic Level on the Geoscape is perfect. It shows all relevant Informations and work like it should (UFO Attacks, Terror Mission lose / win etc.). But I agree with Geno that for the Early Access Launch it should be updated (be it in Colours for the 6 founding Regions or whatever). That we have to test in the next Major builds, because the first look from the Players which buy the EA / Final Version is cruical.
  23. That´s strange Chris. But if it´s fixed in the next Major Build it sounds very good. Tested the Buildup with Hangars, Workshops, Radar and other Buildings and they worked perfect in my Games so far. So I thought that´s a wrong Data after the Upgrade.
  24. I can build everything. Then you have an wrong Data or an not fully Upgrade to 15.4-Version. Let it repair from Steam first. If Steam can´t do it, deinstall and delete the full game (Savegames etc.), then install it completley new.
