Airconswitch
Does anyone else actually like the current style of "TURN n" screen? The simple, white-on-black is stark and vaguely haunting. It's not unlike the "DAY n" in The Shining, IIRC. It really works well as it is.
Sathra
Not really. With some re-arranging it could be more palatable. It does require me to click an extra time each turn to see the pretty art though.
Chris
They've already been removed for Build V8 I'm afraid. At the Expo people seemed to think they were loading screens and would spend ten minutes looking at them in puzzlement until I gently urged them to click the mouse... Sathra
That's amusing. Having some kind of Turn X thing would be useful though. For personal challenges and the like (for instance: Finish a Battleship in under 8 turns) Edited November 7, 2011 by Sathra formatting

I just sat there waiting for something to happen.
Nuttss
I like a turn screen, it keeps with the original. Just make the button big and obvious.
Sunblinder
Maybe something to provide as an option - easy to keep everyone happy that way.
Aelius
A simple "press any key" at the bottom of those screens should solve the problem
Hoywolf
A simple "press any key" at the bottom of those screens should solve the problem and make it glow or something!

Having some kind of Turn X thing would be useful though. For personal challenges and the like (for instance: Finish a Battleship in under 8 turns) If turn screens have been done away with, however, I second that motion.
