Sunshard
I am amused and slightly creeped out by the occasional generation of a lone TV in the middle of a yard: Is this intentional?
peren
The Aliens invaded for our cable television!
Gauddlike
It is a stealthy (but stupid) alien type, you should shoot every one of them you come across before they breed and we have portables everywhere..
RikazeMA
I found one of these TV's out behind the power-station type building you always start next to presently, as well as one near the big shipping containers at one point. I agree, they're very creepy. I was definitely having a fit of 'wth?' when I saw those. I was sure they were IAED's (Improvised Alien Explosive Device,) and couldn't bring myself to go within like ten tiles of them.
Sunshard
Eventually, someone's going to post an instance of two of these. And we will all be collectively voiding our bowels. They're....breeding...
Gorlom
Spoilers incase I'm ruining anyones fun by telling what I know of the TV. Think someone reported this as a bug in the bug section and Chris responded that he was trying something out with the tiles or something and that it was an accident it made it into the playable build or something. anotherdevil
It was a test for the night combat, to look at ambient light I believe. This isn't really a spoiler, I don't think... =p
Sunshard
I vote to keep it in the final build!
Zinn
It's actually the greatest anti-theft device of all time. This is the late 70s, so you KNOW that people don't leave TVs running if they aren't around and if the guard isn't outside watching telly, surely he must be inside on patrol. oracle1990
It is just a hint that TV is the prelude for an Alien invasion. TV was introduced by an alien race that want humans to become lazy (and fat)... ----
Gauddlike
Damn I walked right into their plans. Must exercise more.

Chris
Yes, it's actually our test light when we were testing the night mission stuff. I think its gone the way of the Evil Alien Barn now though sadly.
Sunshard
It's too good not to keep Chris . You have to admit it adds to the heebie jeebies we feel.
Montie
It's the start of the monovision invasion... To your trenches marines! Ooh Rah! On a similar note, there's a TV I'd LIKE to move into the yard so I don't have to deal with it's watcher
