How do I use the jumpsuit?

I just got a jumpsuit equipped. How the hell do I work it? What button/switch/key do I press???

Apology, if topic already covered, but couldn't find in the manual?

The jumpsuit...from what i heard...is kinda bugged...

It does not hover, it is for jumping.

As far as I know (I've never actually gotten to use one before) you simply click where you want to go. It's a jump jet system, so you can jump up and over, or onto, things. However, you need to end your movement on a level surface, such as the ground, or the roof of a building, or the like, otherwise it doesn't work.

It automatically works in the very few situations in when using the jumpsuit will work.

When you fight carriers, your troops can jump over the long struts at each end, which is the only viable time I've found jumpsuits to regularly be useful. You can also jump to the top of carriers, but not many other ships.

I've found them very fiddly at first, and I''m not entirely convinced they are able to jump over everything they should be able to.

You get near to a building, then Tab up to the right level.

Select a spot on the floor of that level, and double click to jump up.

Yes it works. By selecting the spot of the floor it and by double clicking it get jumped. It makes easy to move forward to the next level.
