raz Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 (edited) I just got a jumpsuit equipped. How the hell do I work it? What button/switch/key do I press??? Apology, if topic already covered, but couldn't find in the manual? Edited June 17, 2013 by raz Quote
MisterLock Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 The jumpsuit...from what i heard...is kinda bugged... Quote
GizmoGomez Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 As far as I know (I've never actually gotten to use one before) you simply click where you want to go. It's a jump jet system, so you can jump up and over, or onto, things. However, you need to end your movement on a level surface, such as the ground, or the roof of a building, or the like, otherwise it doesn't work. Quote
Waladil Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 It automatically works in the very few situations in when using the jumpsuit will work. When you fight carriers, your troops can jump over the long struts at each end, which is the only viable time I've found jumpsuits to regularly be useful. You can also jump to the top of carriers, but not many other ships. Quote
thothkins Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I've found them very fiddly at first, and I''m not entirely convinced they are able to jump over everything they should be able to. Quote
thothkins Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 around this time sgt thothkins had a sinking feeling that all the research money had been p!$$ed away at the nearest strip club. Quote
Operations Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 You get near to a building, then Tab up to the right level. Select a spot on the floor of that level, and double click to jump up. Quote
thothkins Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 thanks Operations. I'm not far enough into the new build to get piccies. I'm sure folks will appreciate that. Quote
Cruzfaber Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) Yes it works. By selecting the spot of the floor it and by double clicking it get jumped. It makes easy to move forward to the next level. Edited February 10, 2014 by Gauddlike Removed website link Quote
