DarkPonzu
I'd like to know what Goldhawk Interactive's stance is on Xenonauts themed fanfiction. Is it ok as long as we write it for free? I think it could be cool to fictionalize an AAR (after action report) based on a Xenonauts game. And a way to get around not have anything original to write about right now
anotherdevil
I'm pretty sure you can write whatever you want, so long as you don't try and push it on as official writing
Sathra
Seems to be. I wrote a short one and Chris never mentioned it.
Chris
Yeah it's fine by me as long as you don't pretend it's official!

oracle1990
A preview: Medic! Another angle - same scene. --O-- Edited February 17, 2012 by oracle1990

Zinn
Sounds like a fun idea to write something like that. This is the internet, however, so I'll also expect stories about Yuri and Carl making the Cold War hot in no time. Yes, this almost physically hurt to write but you know it to be true
Sunshard
I'm thinking we need one to discuss training....in as silly a way as possible. "So there I was, staring down my iron sights at a shed. The crew behind the mock-up had tried to get into the spirit of it. You could tell they'd tried; painted it with a disturbing yellowish tinge and some of the silhouette targets had new heads grafted on. But still. It remained an undeniable fact that I was looking at an Evil Alien Shed ." P.S. I would hate to be a quartermaster / ammo technician for the Xenonauts. That would be equally funny to write. anotherdevil
are you drawing these then adding in the cross hatched pencil design? They're certainly an interesting take on the medium! =]
Gorlom
Seems 3D generated and then running the image through a few filters too me. If its not generated in 3D you have an excellent eye for perspective

But this is 3D (Poser 9), but no filter - I used sketch render, the fastest way to render a picture. Just for preview and nice effect --O-- Edited February 21, 2012 by oracle1990
Sunshard
We should put something together to bind all these images together. A nice quiet, contemplative piece, interspersed with fear and dread of course.

I have no clue whatsoever about rendering =) Thanks for the info.
oracle1990
Hi. I had a problem with the Chinook, so I made a fast intro today using a Blackhawk helicopter (just to give a impression of how the intro will be). I will use sketch render only for the intro.
