Enemies you encounter are somewhat randomized so it's very possible you don't meet Facehuggers for long time on terror missions. IIRC terror mission enemies are determined by enemies that terror UFO has. Attached 2 screenshots: 1st screenshot show, that soldier can go out the door. 2nd screenshot show, that soldier can't go back into the same door. Bug appear exactly with this door. Other are ok. Attached 2 save files: 1st with open door 2nd with door, before opening (just in case...) P.S. I don't think you should fix it. It's very-very rare (it's 1st time when I faced it, for hundreds of in-game hours). And bcs game is old enough. Is there any operator/specialist I can only get in a landed urban terror mission, rather than from the UFO raid? Will I be able to capture all the same stuff? If I don't have to do the urban terror mission to get all specialists, I'd rather just shoot them all down and get all the terror ship resources I can, right? Which aliens is just random. So you won't get same stuff but probably enough still. Shooting down UFO gives you terror ship datacores. But doing land mission may give more specialists. That's a tradeoff. Extreme ships will be harder to shoot down but I shot down basically every Phase 2-4 terror ship (some of first ones slipped through since I didn't have enough airforce at that time) on my playthrough. Predator armour is phase 2 stuff, however pulse minigun is phase 3 stuff. You should enter phase 3, research some stuff and only after then conquer alien base. Praetorians are at least phase 3 aliens, if not even phase 4. Just too much to remember. To enter phase 3, there is no other way than wait until ticker gets high enough. In other words, game time must go on enough. You will notice immediately when aliens put phase 3 UFOs against you. Objectives game tells you might be impossible until game progresses further. I already investigated the whole base, the whole research after ....there is no more to research, i am on Phase 4 , getting massive dreadnaughts and bright red soldiers i must be missing research..... cos i only have the MK1 knife, and no "green grenades" problem is i dont know who to stun to get it, or in what ship. I couldn't even load it, probably because it has too many mods outside X-Division. If your mods (outside X-Division) messes with certain .xml files, like researces.xml , it may be possible that it wrecks whole research tree and then you won't see later researches at all. I suggest you don't use any mods outside what X-Division offers as default. It is probably reason is you cannot progress further. I cannot see why you need any mods outside X-Division.
