winterwolves
I know its an oldie, but still there in 9.2: When soldiers are sent on a second or subsequent mission their guns weigh double until you go to the inventory screen and exit. Matthew
Are you sure about that? I cannot reproduce it, and our coders have fixed it. Can you tell me some more info about it?
Numpty
yep the weight of 2 handed weapons is still double after every misson. It is cleared on game load though, and cleared if you change anything in inventory but if you go from one mission to base then to next mission you start with a 2 handed weapon in each hand or something and have reduced ap. imperialus
I've noticed it too.
zzz
I just open inventory of one of soldiers and click-click "next" while scroll them all.
Gauddlike
I couldn't duplicate this but then realised I was trying to do it by launching the game in debug. The troops are reset after every mission so it doesn't seem to happen there.
winterwolves
This is still happening to me in 9.31. Additionally: I have just noticed it does not matter if the chinook actually makes it to combat. My very first attempt at a ground combat was a landed ufo. He took off and escaped to space before my chinook arrived. Then I shot one down, sent in my troops and: double weight weapons.

My very first attempt at a ground combat was a landed ufo. He took off and escaped to space before my chinook arrived. Then I shot one down, sent in my troops and: double weight weapons. Indeed. I knew about the previous bug for weight doubling (oddly, doesn't apply to pistols though) and stumbled into the extra caveat about an hour ago of it doubling the weight of rifles, snipers and machineguns if the Chinook is launched. thothkins
ah, is that what it is. Yes, I get this on 9.31 as well. I generally go into personel and click on the weapon and it's fine. But I have to
Hellstormer
I notice this more with the MG than any other weapons but I think sniper rifles have this also. I run into this too (on the rare occasion I make it past the HM bug )
Gorlom
hellstormer could the reason you notice it on the heavy weapons be because they make your soldier go over their encumbered limit? If you look at the rifle and shotgun you will probably notice they are doubeling as well, but without impact the soldiers AP. Pistols wont double since they are one handed weapon and this problem seems to only be with the 2handed ones.
Hellstormer
nah it's happened when they have only had just the gun and I double checked the encumbrance thing already. This isn't as prevalent as it was previously either. Maybe I just uninstall/reinstall - could be a file didn't update right or something (always a chance of that!) IRGhost
i got this one too with screenshots... a soldier with rocket launcher and some rockets weren't able to move at all... checking him when i returned from mission he had -17 ap.... no wonder he couldn't move he must have been lying on his back like a turtle
winterwolves
Is it because it is giving them the weight of a weapon in each hand? That would explain why it only happens with two handed weapons.
