  1. In my third ground combat the old Osprey was used instead of the Chinook, which with a 3 man frontage instead of 2, the guys over the landing wheels were stuck, and unable to move.
  2. The button on the soldiers status block at the bottom of the screen, that indicates kneeling would be nice, if it also indicated the present stance, either standing or kneeling. At this time it only changes colour. Your thoughts please!!
  3. The two substances that are required all the time are alien alloys, and Alenium that are handed out in such small quantities, as to be painfully. Could the all great wise one give us a little more, so as to give the illusion of having a chance of a win.
  4. Each soldier has an information box, with Health and Time units, there could be added a percentage figure, in there as well. Maybe!!
  5. I think that if you did put a health bar next to each soldier and alien, it would clutter out the screen, or it would need to be small, and unobtrusive!!
  6. With less resources to start with, it will take a lot longer to build bases and have the kind of force that will keep you in-touch with the game. New players could become disinterested in the game sooner, and move on to other slimier produces. All games need to have that fine balance between changing and winnable, so as to build up the fan base, for the next incarnation of this game. Levels of difficulty need to be put in, to cater for different skill levels.
  7. In X-1, within air combat, there was a button that allowed you to flip or turn your aircraft to avoid the alien missiles, but not in this version of the game.
  8. I have had the same problem, with the terror mission were you land in the parking lot!!
  9. Early Aircraft are just shot out of the sky, before you have a chance, to go into ground combat, No ground combat, the game stands still. The aliens seem to take over areas faster than before, and this is on normal settings.
  10. Still Getting the 8 seater helicopter , and the the 10 in the terror mission that starts in the car park.
  11. Why not male it simpler, and get rid of the Ballistic weapon and use rocks!!, and then all we have to do is run for the hills.
  12. The new user face is a little bland, hope they are working on some think more immersive, that gets you into the zone!! We seem to have stepped back and not moved forward. We live in hope!!!
  13. I hope that when the game is released, it will be more than what we have seen over the last 18 months to 2 years, as we go through the same ground battles, the the same weapons and armour, over the same couple of months game time, when will see some variety in game play!!
  14. There is still no up-dated value for the alien alloys, and Alienium when captured from mission, is this a bug or is it something other!!
  15. When you enter into ground combat with a plasma weapon, you use it to take out an alien, and then use their weapon, which don't have power depletion issue, and so with each alien that you take down, you can rearm your soldiers. This fixes that problem, and adds a little something extra to the game!!
  16. The Grenades that are available from the start of the game, look like fragmentation grenades, and are not designed to take out walls, they are anti personal designed to kill or maim living creatures. As the game progresses you develop alien grenades, and they are much more powerful, and these should be able to destroy walls, and of course the good old C4.
  17. It would be nice if the list of soldiers in the drop-ship could be a little longer, so that all the 10 troopers could be shown. Also if the armour stats could be shown as they were in earlier version, either on that page or not far?
  18. The grenade that is shown on the equipment page, looks like a fragmentation grenade, and not HE, so to be able to destroy Walls you would need HE, and not Fragmentation, as these a anti-personal, which only produce a large bang, and a small flash, and are designed to effect personal, and not the Hollywood type that we see mow!!
