Yes that's the one thank you. Man a remake of that game would be awesome =)

PS. oh boy, the guy playing in that video seems... quite bad at the fighting in the game. DS.

Build 8.9 is awesome! :) .... only glitch i got was a civilian that was half in / half out of a building when a new mission started...! with headphones on, some of the new music in a mission was creepy as heck... great stuff! :)

It might not be another few days yet. We've done a lot of work and it's taking some time to get it all into one game and working with everything else :)

Wow, so it might be as soon as this week? That's great to know. Sorry if I've overlooked a thread somewhere but, what can we expect to see in v 9.0?

And I think my most pressing question must be; when do you envisage the AI being updated and implemented into the alpha? As it stands at the moment the building blocks for a brilliant game are there, but I can't wait to be properly tested by the enemy AI.

Anyway, keep up the good work Chris!

V9 will also have:

- Basic AI model

- Aircraft in air combat start correctly positioned relative to their Geoscape heading prior to interception

- Mod support (designed to deal with autoupdaters)

- Tileset-specific civilians

- Significantly reduced loading times

- the other stuff AD mentioned

- more than one map, rather than the same map being played over and over

The ground combat GUI update is not definite yet. We've started work on it but I'm not sure how long it'll take - we've got a new coder working on it.

It should be a fairly major update all told. No doubt it'll introduce a crapload of new bugs though.
