Waladil Posted June 14, 2013 Share Posted June 14, 2013 Also, I found that V (possibly X) does actually instantly win the battle in the dev version. HOWEVER, you usually get crap scores. Any aliens still alive count as "escaped" and the UFO is considered unsecured. But you do get the UFO loot and stuff from any already killed aliens. I had a similar issue yesterday, where a lone alien was ducked behind a console near the entrance of a small ufo; i got 5 soldiers in , one after another, 2 heavy, 2 rifles and 1 sniper, at point blank none could hit the damn thing, and it was right there. You'll get less money though, so you might have some income problems. Any particular ship you are having problems with?
