Running aliens -looks funny

I was thinking why aliens in old UFO EU looks more scary. Because they walk. In Xeno aliens runs pretty fast and its funny. Maybe there is a chance to slow down them?

Sounds like a good idea. It wouldn't change any mechanics of gameplay at all, so it would be just as hard to kill them even if they were walking a lot more slowly. It shouldn't be too slow, but slower than your troops at least, to show that they can kill you even while moving more slowly. Maybe a quick walk, or something.

Its more loping. Long, quick strides. Just Caesans and Sebillians mostly.

If they have both feet off the ground at any point in the animation, you'll have to reanimate every single one of them. And believe me when I say that animation is a giant pain in the neck and takes forever to do because there are just SO many sprite models.

Aliens usually walk really slow in their planets. But coming to earth, where gravity is much lower, they obiouvsly walk faster and with low coordination.

Keep the speeds as is - it keeps the pace a little tighter until it's my turn again.

Could slow down the Androns though. You can barely see their feet move as it is and the sound isn't quite synced to their movement.
