Skitso
These cabbage fields tank my FPS to 30. Normally I have the fps hovering around 120. Edited February 11 by Skitso
InCiDeR
I noticed this as well. Wonder if it is more due to the sound effects in the field than the actual visual display... Edited February 11 by InCiDeR
Von_Emmy
It has gotten worse in v3.0.5 but was already the most tanky visuals in the game. I wouldn't mind the cabbage being removed, as it anyways doesn't make sense for the tractor to be standing in midst of the grown cabbage. Yeah the problem seems to be is that each cabbage head in that field is it's own object, so while the polygons aren't that high per cabbage (~200 triangles or so), the entire cabbage field tank the fps because of the amount of draw calls. We'll work on getting the meshes merged so that it doesn't affect performance as much.

Original Lara Croft was made of 230 triangles ! Get noticed she posses two cabbages. Perhaps you could think more about efficient (low poly) design ?
