  1. It happened to me a couple of times as well. I like this feature, it took me by surprise first time when the secton went berserk on my turn and killed one of my soldiers hahaha. I was a bit more careful next time!
  2. To be quite honest. I do like it that way, it makes it more challenging and you need to approach the UFO with a slightly different tactic. Maybe it could stay like that on commander?
  3. I am sorry, I did not think of keeping that save file. Because it will only show the after state (armor healed) and not the before state (armor broken) as the reloading process itself "heals the armor". To my recollection I think this phenomenon has happened before on a couple of occasions, but I did not bother to report it due to me thinking I remembered it wrong. However, I will keep my eyes out for this one and keep all my savefiles from hereon
  4. Yeah, you are right. I apologize, I must have been very tired, normally I am very careful when reporting a bug so I do not "hijack" your valuable time unnecessary.
  5. I broke the armor with a grenade, then I did a save. After reloading the save the armor was healed again so my sniper did no longer have a good shot.

  7. The game start was on a clean install 3.09. Ares normally has more armor than Mars! Ares Mars user_day_350_ares_armor-1194.json
  8. I only play on commander, why my suggestions are related to that diffculty. 1. Aircombat The player should not know a specific UFOs range and fire arc before they shoot one down and "bring it back" for research. It will also be easier to detect a "new" UFO in the airgame as it lacks the highlighted fire arc areas. That might be hard to code, but it would be more realistic. I find the airgame too easy in the beginning. I mean a single fighter should not be able to bring down a Destroyer with a couple of sidewinders and an autocannon. Otherwise I love the airgame, it really add to the the game as a whole. 2. Shield I find the shield to be a bit overpowered. Maybe lower its HP to 70/140 or even 60/120 on commander. I believe it will be more of a tactial gameplay with lower health on the shield. You can no longer stand in the open just tanking all the shots. 3. Knife An upgraded knife with technology would be interesting. For us who like to go melee. Nothing major, but maybe a laserknife! It is a great game, looking forward to the endgame!

  10. "Is the bug still present on 3.0.5 on your end?" Yes, it is. Myself haven't bothered to report the bug, because... laziness I guess?!... but probably because the bug didn't affect my gameplay in any major sense.
  11. I noticed this as well. Wonder if it is more due to the sound effects in the field than the actual visual display...

  13. Doors show the opposite than what they truly are, e.g if they are open the visual shows closed and vice versa. This occurs on several maps why it is hard to pinpoint a specific problem. It is also hard to recreate due to it is fixed by reloading a save. Therefore I did not add a savefile.
  14. "Reapers attack train station." That is a very good idea. I agree, civilian turn might eventually be long. However, if they made the map unique or as a part of the story, not random. I would personally have no problem with a longer map timewise if it ony happened once.
