  1. Yeah, I know of this one, but am dying for it to happen. I emailed MWE (Most wanted Entertainment) about it, and they promised a Kickstarter in Late May or June.... Given that today is a the 2nd of July, I'm a tad miffed that I've not seen anything yet. I got £200 in my account waiting for this game!
  2. I didn't really like it, to be honest. It felt like they made the movie to be AWESUM rather than try tell a coherant story". It's like they decided to make the movie, and then wrote a bunch of sceans that would be cool and string them together, instead of writing a story, deciding on making the movie, and then creating the sceans..... Ya know?
  3. Yeah... It's wierd that Xcom has been public knowlage for years now, by EU looks like it'll land first. I think even the pubs realise that even ans are not interested in another generic shooter. I honestly expect EU to do better than the Xcom FPS.
  4. I head it was one of the greatest let downs of th year. Is it getting better? Is it anywhere near as good as the first one yet? TBH, I just bought Gemini Wars (came out today) and I'm considering going got the Crusader Kings 2 on the steam sale..... Damn, and I wanna up my pledge for the "Two Guys, Space Venture" kickstarter.....
  5. The Trailer was ok. I mean... it wasn't a bald guy murduring a bunch of rpg toting slutty nuns.... but it was ok.
  6. Yeah, I can kinda empathise with the Commissar. I'm just about to launch into a significant finacial investment, and dont have a lot of expendable cashflow right now. But so many good indie games on the way.... and kickstarter.... My girlfired is starting to notice the lack of dinners I'm taking her out for.
  7. Backed this, but only chucked in $20. If games want more from me, there has to be a more recent "pay back"... if you will.
  8. This game looks interesting. I'll see what becomes of it.
  9. Yeah, I pre-ordered Gemini wars. Something similar is Legands of Pegasus: http://www.legendsofpegasus.com/en/ [video=youtube;4t-32INHxpE]
  10. I tried the demo, and loved the destructability of the ships. I liked that everything seems to come apart, and leave debris I could see, and bumb into. i liked that I could shoot off the rocket boosters on the freiters, disabling them. I'm not a huge fan of the art style (I prefer ships that get get built rather than grown), and the gameplay seems a bit too fast and frantic, IMHO. It didn't give you the oppertunity to really enjoy the destruction you inflict. I backed it.
  11. Hmm... I like the idea of scattered remains of damaged capital ships, with dead bodies in them. But I hardly think it's a requirement. The game does well at creating that "crashed ufo" feeling.
  12. Jesus, Dude. Calm down. Goldhawk is not EA, I bet that Chris has put a lot more of his own money into this game than most of us "hard earning workers". It'd human nature to finish a project you started, and to finsih it well, the consipiracy of abandoning development of the game is unfounded.
  13. /\, Yeah, I couldn't get my copy online and couldn't play yesterday. I'm not that annoyed, to be honest, I feel more in the mood to play space games ATM (Just replayed Homeworld 1 & 2) anyow. But I do think that this is bullshiet that I'm beeing prevented from using something I payed for.
  14. You're going to miss a lot of them. It's basically what the UFO's are doing beyond your detection radiace. There's not way you can stop them( in the early game) so you might as well ignore them.
  15. Pffft... BF3 should stick with large open maps. If was wanted to play a cluster-frak map, i'd have bought COD. Anyway, I'm saving up for the Nexus: The Jupiter Incident 2 kickstarter which is due to start in the next couple of weeks.
