  1. Have you the same Problem if you move in other Directions? Like left down to the Wall with the big Entry?
  2. The Release-Annoucements shows that many things have changed. More of such Changes will come in V22, V23 etc. In V21 you have to reasearch the Fighter first before you can build it. You see, no Bug. It´s a new Feature about the big Refits in the Game from Start on.
  3. Hmm.... normaly I would say it´s an Bug. But with the Refits the Devs are bringing in since this Version it could be a Special with the Scientists too. You get more later with the Reduction of the first / beginning Threat (Human-Enemys). Maybe as an Security-Special that the Enemys (Human-Traitors) don´t get Research-Datas. I suggest observe this, because we both don´t know it´s a Feature (Special) or an Bug. The Chance that is a Special-Feature is 50 %.
  4. Yep, in my short look in I have seen exactly the same Ruggerman. In V17 / V18 to V20 you could recruit more scientists. That is gone Missing here in V21 in the Laboratory-Screen. The Engineers instad you can hire fully normal in the Workshop-Screen. Have you played longer or take only a short look into the new Version like me yesterday Night, where you build up your Main-Base with the first more Buildings [second Lab, Generator, Hospital and Training Center] in the first days?
  5. Thanks Chris. From what I can read with the Major- and Minor-Changes / Upgrades it is a medium Upgrade for Testing. Hope that in V22 and V23 we get more cool Stuff back which get already testet (Outposts, Alien-Space-Station etc.) and is atm under Upgrade / Rework / Refit.
  6. Exactly that´s the Proplem Rodmar18. In your Base / Bases / Outposts you won´t have any Problem with Supply. But that´s only 1/2 or 1/4 from the full. Minimum 3/4 or in good Shape 1/2 of the Game you will fight outside. That means UFOs, Alien-Bases, enemy Human-Bases, Special Missions and whatever. That´s the Part where the big Problems beginning and you can´t resupply. That´s exactly that where I said in my Post above. You see the Problematic of the Idea. You could do it like in old X-Com with the additional Equipment. But what then? If you are deep in an Alien-Base / enemy Human Base / Special Mission or such you haven´t the Chance to refill / rearm or similar. There the old X-Com had cheated before going in the next Level / Mappart. That the Devs wanna avoid. An similar problem like Xenonauts 2 have is in the UFO-ET-Series (UFO 1 ET which get an fully Refit and UFO 2 ET which get DLCs). There you have only the Opportunity to fit everything the Soldiers can carry and fight in 3 Options (f. e. heavy = Mortar, medium = Rocketer or light = Rifle / Grenadier etc.). The Advantage there is, that you can use after R & D the Alien-Weapons, Ammo-Magazins etc. if your Soldiers have such Weapons and the Aliens haven´t upgraded their Arsenal like in good old X-Com or new XCOM. The only Solutions in Xenonauts 2 for that Problem I see are following: 1. Standard-Ground-Missions (f. e. Crashsite): The Dropship-Pilots make an Resupply-Depot there with an HMG and Long-Range-Weapon as Security 2. Special-Ground-Missions (f. e. Enemy Bases): The Dropship-Pilots are the burro and make an Resupply-Depot on the Mission-Entrace with the same Depot. If there are more Levels with Map-Changes then they have to do it several times. That have the Advantage for Maximum-Resupply the Dropship-Locker can carry, but have several Disadvantages too (like that the Enemys can destory your Resupply-Depot and esp. your Pilots and use the Weapons against you, which means you loose automatically the Mission and all your Soldiers). That´s why all Devs from such Games (dosen´t matter Xenonauts 2, the UFO-ET-Series, Phoenix Point and in X-Com: Apocalypse) didn´t bring that in anymore. If there is an other Solution, which didn´t get found in the last 25 to 27 Years since X-Com: Apoc the Devs of such Games would have integrate it.
  7. Nice monthly Dev Diray. Sounds great. Sadly most of that will come first in Betaversion 22. Kamehamehayes is right with his Question about the Beta 21-Contents. What we can expect from it? Are the Contents light (only Graphicsupdate, Menueupdate and similar) or is it a medium one (with Gapfillers). That´s the decision memo to make an small or big test until Beta 22 comes up.
  8. Like I said already, nice Idea. Such Elements I get missing in the UFO-ET-Games (1 and 2) too. There you have the same Sitiuation. Either your People are light Armed and have enough Reserves with them or they are heavy Armed and can´t carry so much. I understand too (I have done my Soldier-Duty), that in deep enemy Base-Missions, Special Mission etc. you can´t say to your Enemys: "Hold on, we are out of Ammonition and have to supply us again, before we can continue the fight." For that Situation it´s good to have fully equiped Soldiers and use them wisely.
  9. Similar Ideas we have discussed with the Devs too in our Founder-Beta-Testings for Xenonauts 2. There are already Outposts, Alien-Specials (like an hidden and not conventional attackable Alien-Space-Station) etc. integrated and after Testing we have several Ideas like this you announce too. Most of us Beta-Testers announced the Divide in Main-Base, Research-Base, Engeener-Base and Fighter-Bases as well as integrate the Outposts in that Concept f. e. Storage for secured UFOs. It´s here in Xenonauts 2-Threats to find. Im to tired to search that after a bad working day. Atm we Testers wait for the new Beta-Version 21. Personaly I think, the Devs integrate such Elements for Outposts and make a Base-Changes in several Parts.
  10. It´s not a Bug, that Feature is not implemented yet. 2 different Squadrons or fighters player controlled can´t work together. It´s atm. like the new XCOM Fighter-System with 1 Fighter / Squadron against an UFO. Such an Feature is in Discussion, like in old X-Com Enemy Unknown / Terror from the Deep to make such linked fights more interessting. Evtl. the Devs bring it in the next Versions as an Testbed to see it in practical with the Air-Fighting-System and improvements the Game make Step by Step. As an Testbed we had such an similar system, but with one big difference. The AI controlled the Founder-Fighters as well as the UFO / UFOs and you your own Squadron. Short Said: Atm. you have to choose 2 or 3 Planes from one base, which can fight together. An second Squadron linked with the first in player Controll aren´t possible.
  11. There is an announcementoffer in Steam to join the Testers. Maybe it´s still active. You can´t miss it.
  12. That´s to much work to change it for every Suit. Then the Game you wont see in the next 40 Years or in worst Case forever. That´s why all Game-Devs (dosen´t matter from UFO ET, old / new XCOM, Phoenix Point etc.) have an System where you can change the Suits / Armor and an static Equipment-System. The existing System here is very good and an big Rework / Refit from that of Xenonauts 1. An similar System uses the UFO-ET-Series. If you wanna have an System with a Sidearm-Holster and such, then look in the UNI-Mod for UFO ET, which Refit the existing System with the missing things. The Xenonauts 2-System have already the most of it, maybe the missing Sidarm-Holster can be integrated.
  13. In UFO ET that is easy solved: Build a Base in every Country or in UFO 2 swimming Bases (Carriers) too, to protect your Founders. Here in Xenonauts is an other Prinicple, but similar. To have 3 Bases around the World makes no sense. Maybe we get other Options too with better Outposts or so, then 1 Main-Base and 2 small / medium Bases makes more sense. But atm. the Principle more small Bases with Radar and some Fighters and Storage is the best Option.
  14. Yeah, Puciek, thats true. Haven´t noticed that since I have stopped to play the old X-Com-Games and did more playing UFO ET-Series, Phoenix-Point and similar new Games.
  15. @ Zolobolo: The Hangars are like they are from beginning on. Maybe it will change, maybe not. That´s we are discussing here and the Devs Decide at the end what is the best. Normaly they do internal tests from the suggestions and decide what is better. If one thing is hard to decide and the Devs aren´t sure, they ask the Community in an Question-Threat, like it was done in one Point already. @ Challange: Cool to meet one with the same wisdom. We both are not amused that the 1 Base-System isn´t there anymore. The Community have been asked from the Devs and the Democracy have decided that the more Base System (like in UFO-ET-Row, old X-Com-Row) have to be used again. This Theame have been eaten already. I like the old X-Com-Stile and new UFO-ET-Stile with 1 Hangar, 1 Fighter / Helicopter / Transport (unarmed / later armed). The same you have in new XCOM too with the Difference, that you don´t build up them. The nice Feature you get in the UFO-ET-Row that the Energy-Center and the first Hangar is in the build up Price for Secondary-Bases included. Maybe we can use such a Feature for the Secondary-Bases too or an other suggested concept in the Base-Buildup-Threat.
  16. Yeah, there I give you both right. Ruggerman and Jet Jaguar I give you right, that the permanently Steps to make the Game better and better in every Beta is getting Fruits. Sadly some Hardcorepeople in Steam-Forum see it different. That´s no Problem, if they would read the monthly Updates and use the offer to help in Beta-Testing. What Goldhawk doing is not self-evident. Instead the that Hardcorepeople in Steam-Forum don´t have the mood to read the monthly Infos and / or help to make the Game playable (Betatester). Therefore blaming the Game directly as well indirectly the Devs, Founders and Betatesters is their Main-Objective. Friendly Discussions etc. in the Steam-Forum didn´t help. As an Founder and Betatester I got the courrage to say directly words (still friendly, hard in the 2 Options they have [Infos what we do or like the big Devs / Publishers with no Infos until its too late]) to that People which causes in an atm exclussion.
  17. Thanks Chris for this new monthly Update. Sounds good again like all Monthly Updates before. Yes, it have many Jobsites left, but I personaly think that the new Beta-Version V.21 will be an big Hammer for all of us with many Refits, Improvements, cool tested Stuff like the Orbital Bombardement etc. and secret Stuff we don´t know yet. Therefore I can wait longer, dosen´t matter how long it took. I personaly can´t understand why the People don´t wanna have Quality. Like some on Steam, which have only Newspapers in their Brain [one of them is blaming UFO 2 ET too, which is there in the Base-Game-Variant]. Instead they wanna have Quantity and then they are disappointet if they have to use 20+ Patches and buy Minimum 5 DLCs which make the Base-Game-Quality and 6+ DLCs to get an Refit in the Base-Game-Quality. You and your Team are doing a great Job and I´m happy to be a Part of the Founding- and Beta-Testing-Crew. That the Game looks finaly better then in the Protoype-Kickstarter-Pictures [which is the same since longer Time for U-Boat], is fully natural. If you need for an perfect Base-Game 1 or 2 more Years incl. Cloesed-Beta, Open-Beta and Early Access, then take the Time. It´s better to have an Game with Quality, high sellings and lesser Patches, like the UFO 2 ET-Devs / new XCOM-Devs did it in the Base-Game-Variant, then to have a 2 or 3 Year programmed Quantity Game, which is unplayable.
  18. If you buy something, much more an Blue-Ray one, which can use both (DVDs and Blue-Rays). Some of the good nostalgic Movies you don´t get on the Stream-Services (Netflix, Prime, Disney+ etc.). Sky is an Alternate, but if you use all Parts it can be very expensive. I know that, because I use all 3 Streaming-Services for Series, Movies, Dokus etc. and Sky Sports for Motorsport.
  19. That´s not unusual in Beta-Versions. But if a buildable Shield / Shieldupgrade were already in, then that Bug have to be corrected for the next big Version.
  20. The Reviews are 50 / 50. I like the new Stuff which get in UFO2ET, as the Stuff get in Xenonauts 2. Both Games bring in serveral new Features, which the Competitors don´t have in their Games. The Differences from both directly comperable Games are in 2 Points not much (the Upgrade from Planes with Weapons and Shields or the Upgrade from Ground-Vehicles with Weapons and Armor), in other Parts however very different (like the Armor-Upgrades for Soldiers or existing Weapon-Refits). Where do you think the Similarity from all that Games come from? Yes from the old and new XCOM-Row, which brought the Ground-Base. All Games of that and other Gernes take the best of the Groundbase and overwork / refit / change them. If not, we wouldn´t have Games since about 25 Years. I don´t have a Problem with it, because Competitors activate the Business and the Brain, esp. in the Game-Industry. I know too that some People say that UFO2ET isn´t good with the Ground-Base, but it have secrets in it, which only have to be done fully from the Devs. The Problem was / is, that UFO2ET need minimum 2 more years to integrate them, but the Gamers wanna play the Base-Version. In that Case the Gamers have the Base-Version and have to life with it until the DLC comes out (either as a big one or several mediums step by step). But therefore the Devs work on the Platinum-Edition for UFO 1 ET [which get played and buyed very often, but still have many Problems in the existing Versions (Standard and Gold)] with the new excellent Features from UFO2ET (an modernised R & D-Tree, more Enemys, better Groundfights, better useable Secondary-Bases, upgraded Graphics etc.) incl. Modernisations for the Win 10 / 11 operation System with 64 Bit, which will be for all of us the Systems we have to use earlyer or later. The older Systems, but not officiall Updated Operations Systems from Microsoft anymore (Win 7, 8, 8.1) will be still assisted, but then only the 64 Bit Version about several Reasons.
  21. Like said in an other Post, the Game have the Beginn-Part and first Middle-Part done. The second half of the Game is in WIP and comes when it´s ready. We can playtest until August / September / Oktober or so, then your Testrun is done for the Moment, esp. after you done the Alien-Outpost. That Test-Limiter will come earlyer or later in that Month-Time atm, until more Game-Partes are ready for testing.
  22. We can playtest for a limited time [August / September or so] then the UFOs don´t spawn up anymore. That the Devs already mentioned. After the second half of the Game is done [the secondhalf Midgame-Part and full Endgame-Part] then a fully Playtest is possible.
  23. That UFO 2 Extraterestials have some Problems is well known. All Games have Parts which get working better or worser. It get 2 small / medium Patches already for the Base-Game. If you would have read my Post before yours then I said already that Chaos Concept (the Devs from UFO 1 ET [Standard, Gold and after the Refit Platinum Edition] and UFO 2 ET) make DLCs for UFO 2 ET after the Refit from UFO 1 ET. UFO 2 ET features many Things that were 5 Years+ from all Competitors unthinkable. Like Upgrading our existing Ammonutions-Technology and like Xenonauts 2 shows up Upgrading our existing Weapons- and Armor-Technology for Example. And UFO 2 ET brings in more Content, which is much more Realistic like the Attack- / Defensive-Systems from the Bases and Ships (realtime Fights with the Fighters / Helis). And that the Aliens are hard to beat with our Technology is well known too. See Indenpence Day and other Movies and in all Games which are there already. Chaos Concept had more in already in the 8 Year+Test-Versions, but like it is in Xenonauts 2 or other Games the Alpha- and Beta-Testers show the Devs what is working and possible. All other Things will get cut or if they get lucky outsourced for DLCs and / or bigger Patches. To say it´s a bad Game makes me and all others very angry. If I and others read such an Comment about Devs which work realy hard and with heartbeet on such a Storyline-Project, we would like to catch that writer (doesn´t matter male, female or Gender) and knock the Head of the Writer with fully power on the Wall to activate the intellectuall Power. The same upcomming angry I have too about Movies about real Happaning (like Miracle Season: her greatest win or what is it called in English) which brings Sportsmen and Sportwomen Tears in the Eyes about the Tragedy, not only the Normalos. There I read an similar Criticsm from an so called Movie-Expert and get . I wouldn´t like to be in his / her shoes.

  25. The Armor get destroyed fully when a Soldier dies. It’s the same Feature like in old and new XCOM. that get announced in the V.20-Version-Entry and was somewhere in the Forum from Chris.
