  4. Stun grenades (mostly) require enemies to move inside cloud to be effective. Also that stun effect (enemies moving on cloud) is not shown as stun damage. No idea what are Steam trophy points so I don't really need any.

  6. congrats.....you are the winner......i conquered an outpost , it was horrible, 2 days later another outpost came out....and 2 days later it became full base in the same place. 1-thanks for giving a S 2-WHERE do you want your steam trophy points? ( i assume a comment....can you send points directly to someone? ) Ps i used the xm25 grenade launcher mod for the stunning..... the other grenades do nothing at all...no idea
  7. If you load save before landing on alien base, base layout and enemies will be random. If not, then something is very wrong. If you already landed, then reloading won't help. Alternatively you can retreat and attack again, it also makes new layout and new enemies. That sounds normal. Go ahead and prepare for pretty long fight.
  8. Sorry for the late reply. If the save/logs folder is not in the My Games folder, then perhaps you installed the game on a different directory? If that's the case, then it might be in %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Goldhawk Interactive\Xenonauts 2

I did that...... in 1 month they built 2, 1 is an outpost...... they are both ANDRON.....I have saved and reload loads of times......... i was told it refreshed quitting and retrying the mission again and again but nothing...... but it is always andron, am i doing something wrong?.... i cant believe it I tried again normal base ....they are carbon based this time..... i am going to some revenge genociding , squishy aliens dont take more than 1 full 80 bullets to the face point blank.....

  11. Most 1999 fighters had cannons which did not require a hard point and could carry at least 4 missiles.
  12. Pretty much yeah. Allow them either to build new base or to capture one of your bases and then capture that base quickly. Within 48 hours if allowed aliens to capture your base. If they built one, then there is more time.
  13. 1 only have enemy base....so the solution is to do nothing and allow aliens to expand? to other bases?
  14. You probably need Alien leader yes. So problem is Alien fortress. See, Alien bases have three tiers: Outpost, Base and Fortress. Outposts have level 2 aliens, Bases have level 3 aliens and Fortresses have level 4 aliens. If aliens already have Fortress, then you are pretty much f*cked trying to capture it unless you already have level 4 stuff. Of course, there is one advantage you can figure out yourself. You are much better trying to capture leader on alien Outpost.
  15. Hello. X-division , may 1980 cant find a leader to interrogate , winner gets a steam trophy points X-division, i need a leader May 1980 , there is a fortress, i shot down and cleared 100 UFO. But no leader, do i have to take the fortress? I tried to take a fortress.... i dropped a full clip of scimitar´s mag minigun lv 2 on on 1 red ceasan plus full 60 shots of minigun´s laser 2 on the same ceasar......didnt even mitigate armor. ZERO DAMAGE. Same prob with andron fortress. i have tried plasma weapons but too slow and no minigun....but in any case they 1 shot my scimitar in the fortress..... I got nothingleft to research am i missing something?.... i have boarded 105 spaceships, all kinds , the game is on light cruisers , heavy bomber cruisers , advanded assault transports and i took a terror transport 1 month ago....i dont get the very large ships anymore...... or terror missions...... my weapons are all i can get , laser minigun 3 , mag minigun 3.... and PREDATOR armor...and plasma...which i dont use the aliens are SOOOO tough i need full 60-80 shots at 1 sq or 2 away to kill some xenomorphs , blue androns , and close to full 60 shots for robodogs DIFFICULTY is NG, and settings is for delayed alien progress.......

  19. 3 - 4 - 5 actually would work fine for me ... it'd give you fresh options out the gate for the Angel and still give me useful options on the Gemini . Or another option would be to mix up the hard mount values on some of the weaponry. Make some of the light cannons require just one hard mount. Make some of the heavy torpedoes require 2 hard mounts. Missiles that split up into multiple mini missiles when fired. Cannons with ranges other than just 3 and 6. Variety is the spice of life.

  21. I can agree to the lack of funding. It's fatal for the gameplay... it's like we need to seek funding from the enemy... as our "socalled" human associates do not want us to win... or they have other plans for the money. there is no reason to make more difficulty levels... as it is impossible to play it on the easiest level to begin with. With this development: it will be a waste of time to play!!! signed Frank
  22. So, I've been playing oblivious to the funding changes implemented since version 2-something expecting shot down UFOs and successful ground missions to increase funding. I thought my funding was broken in my current campaign, but I kept playing making up the perceived funding shortfall by capturing and selling aliens. Although capturing is something I would likely do anyway for cash, now being required? to do it makes the game more tedious and less fun. 130 days into campaign most upgrades and equipment now cost most of or more than a single monthly funding amount with 3 bases and all the research available to date that added funding researched. If I want more funding now I don't what has to be killed or captured to generate research to increase it leading to a general feeling of uncertainty whether campaign is going well or if behind the curve, maybe that's the intent, but it removes the fiscal planning, scheduling, and strategy aspect of base expansion from the game. Now the strategy is maximize what can be scavenged and done with existing funding until a funding increase opportunity arrives at unknown future time. I don't think I like the uncertainty of it. The previous funding model gave immediate feedback with a funding change if you were doing poor or well. I also don't know how many aircraft per base is ultimately required. X1's three fighters and three bombers per base worked pretty well, but it seems too expensive to do that now with funding for one plane per month, yet moving aircraft and changing aircraft loadouts take so long that doesn't seem viable either. Overall, the Xenonaut defense so far mustered seems inadequate. More aircraft, more base upgrades, more soldier armor and weapons, everything is needed yesterday.
  23. It´s a balance factor but I wouldn´t mind changing hard point limit a bit. I would go with 3 - 4 - 5 (angel > phantom > gemini) and lessen the gap in power among them. It means nerf Phantom and Gemini in other parametres and differ them more. On the other hand I would reduce upkeep cost of basic jet to 50k (from 100k) I like more variety so I would like Phantom being faster and more agile with limited payload / hard point compared to Gemini being more bomber type of craft (slower, less agile with better armor and payload/hard point limit).
