awesome! now can someone tackle North and South America? (not forgetting Canada, Mexico, and Central America)

Is there any way to do it other than comparing geoscape to google earth?

does anyone know if it will be possible to link specific maps to geoscape locations? if so, then everyone could make a home city project, and even add military bases! (Area 51, anyone?)

Dude, that looks epic. I'm excited for when all (or almost all) of the capital cities make it into the game.

One question: Should major cities make it as well?

I'm just thinking, Europe is riddled with nation capitals, and NA only has 3 (2 since Mexico is part of CA at the moment). Some major cities, like state capitals (or just the most major city in the state) would be nice.

Yes, I think some major cities should be added (by historical reference and population number) if they don't overlap too much.

Did some minor correction to the true locations of Gaza, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Amman - overlapping corrections

Removed Ivalo (Finland)

Added PopupDistance = 0.4 to all the capital cities and 0.6 to all the secondary ones.

The majority of the secondary cities are chosen by historic/geographic importance and population density.

Working on Canada right now, finding it more difficult than I thought to match up with the geoscape. Lake Winnipeg for example has been drained and is now a giant swamp, which should make the already legendary mosquito problems there truly epic!

Why would they be separate? The US and Canada are all part of the same region: North America.

Really, Mexico should be in NA as well, not Central America, but I'm willing to forgive that change since CA would be super tiny compared to everything else (though, perhaps funding would reflect that? Balancing must still be done!)
