Im glad i saved my money. i beat the game at my friend's house and its a good game, but it's not xcom. call the game Alien Dawn Alien battlefront or Aliens on Earth i dont care but dont call it xcom. i own the rights to xcom so dont abuse the name hehehehe i wish! Chris i dont care if you like the new xcom because i did too. just remember to keep xenonauts like the original X-COM: UFO DEFENSE with real 2012 gameplay ideas to push the game forward into the 21st century and not backwards like firaxis2kgames did. no bullshit trailer magic thanks. ill be waiting to buy xenonauts when i see for myself that the game is for me. i mean through the demo of the final game. i must know what itll play like in the end. i never gamble on games because industry loves generic entertainment. i gamble on GOG though. so far i have to best experience playing a few games on the 90s when i was born. OpenXcom is so far the only game i donated to. itll be the xcom i know and love but better! 100 percent bug-free and moddable to your hearts content. sign me up!!@

Yes I agree when youre feeling so much danger your survival instincts come in and anything can happen. Like the Hulk American comic grrrrrr hehehehehe I dont think there is a strategy for having low bravery soldiers since they will most likely be near your other soldiers when they go berserk and youre hoping to not lose any sergeants and majors too.

No if the game has faster animation options for battlescape missions like XCOM where you can control the speed of the game and the alien turns arent slow either, then Im ok without autoresolve. I mean the walking speed of Aliens and Operatives, shooting speed too. Yes only if Xenonauts hasn't have speed options and is a slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow game. I played XCOM for so long, I play like a fast computer, bam bam bam clear, no casulties! I am a master hehehehehehe night missions are a different story, I love focusing on those lol.

Scared?? I love night missions because Im this much closer to the screen and I especially let nothing distract me while Im playing on my custom night terror sites. XCOM I mean, lol. You should all go outside at night in the pure darness. You would see how it feels to be an XCOM Operative. Walk around outside away from the city lights hehehehehe!

Gorlum has anger issues everywhere u go lol but the skull boy is right, the idea is too mainstream. Maybe thats realistic or american film does lol, but this is a game and you need balance like this I like this idea better. Who are you quoting?? I rather see this, instead of XCOM way!! Why not???

XCOM shows a scene in the PSX version I saw on youtube, its the lost mission scene and it shows the pilot is separate from the XCOM squad. When everyone dies, this scene shows and your pilot tries to leave and it fade out, so Im assume he gets blown up as he starts to go up because you lose everything when all your force dies.

I think missions that make you jump are welcome. Base defense is perfect example. Anyone else jump when they were attacked in XCOM?! I thought I was safe in my base but noooo! The way Firaxis is already telling fans what missions you will carry out would spoil the surprises. I hope Xenonauts has new missions for us, but without telling us would be great, just like keeping the alien list secret lol! SHHHH!!

I still like the classic mode where you just clear out all aliens and try to protect civies, that way you do just that and whatever happens, happens. This is a game where anything can happen, like the opportunity to capture a live alien or some explosions will occur in obvious places as you said, that can happen. Protecting an VIP would be neat though lol! I do like the idea since if you fail that, its not like youre forced to restart, you must deal with the consequences and so itll be a big minus in your mission score and hopefully you did enough good to cover it up. I do love surprises in my unscripted games!! Like base defense in XCOM, I remember when it hit me, lol. I jumped! That kind of objective is great!

I thought thats common sense you have to have lights on during the night... Look at UFO Cydonias Fall before it was canceled. They had a great concept and design of the night lights in the geoscape, make me wanna cry now lmao! Its a real shame we wont have the lights at night. thats what I meant by realistic in the other thread.

I have a question too. Will the med kits heal HP and or heal wounds to stop bleeding out? I agree with Ljas for an advanced wounding system and show body parts when using the med kit too!!

Since chinooky is always going to be late to the terror sites, when chinooky lands the commandos down, will some areas in the city battlescape be in ruin? That would be neat! Im sorry I have to ask, I cant play the demo. Old PC ;_; I read that chinooky goes 275 mph. I guess that's slow for us watching unless we zoom in.

Speaking of XCOM I just finished playing with my friend. The music of XCOM is just as harrytheb said and Ill add its so natural and fits perfectly! Every amazing game needs the perfect musical score for our ears! Aleksi you can do it!!
