  1. Only the large UFOs will have 2 part missions, I believe. And the mission briefing screen should tell the player that the mission is 2 parts. After thinking about it a bit, I don't think 2 part missions will be that bad or lose that much tension, if at all. I remember playing UFO: Aftermath, which had 2 part missions for UFOs and it was very claustrophobic being trap in that alien tin can.
  2. I don't care about 2 part missions. I never entered the larger UFOs without clearing the outside first unless there was sectoid commander MCing my men. 2 part missions will remove the a bit of the tension but having semi random UFO interiors is worth it.
  3. You could destroy corpses and artifacts with explosives in the original, so I'm glad that it's in.

  6. On a more serious note, one of the mods should be able the power to delete threads. Maybe someone could be promoted and given such a task... he'd have to have angry eyebrows... and an eye patch...
  7. The only psionic aliens that were over powered were the Etherals and that's only because all of them could to do it without line of sight. More balancing will go into mind control in Xenonauts so I'm not concerned.
  8. In the original, wounded agents and aliens would have their accuracy decreased. I was hoping that would be in Xenonauts.
  9. No there won't be any proximity grenades. It was a kickstater goal but it wasn't reached.
  10. People said that after they got rid of TU. And then when they reduced the squad to 4-6. And again when they said there would be no base defence, no random maps, no fully destructible buildings...
  11. If your Chinook can fly a lot further then your fighters then your Chinook is gonna be a sitting duck. By the time you get terror sites you have plenty of alien fighter wings out and about. Plus not being able to protect the entire world on day 1 helps the whole "we're all gonna die" atmosphere.
  12. It could be something you can research, like the spray on armour that gnarly mentioned or something weirder...
  13. I think the repair kit would still have the limitations of the medikit, as in not being able to fully restore a vehicle's health. Some of those plasma weapons are pretty deadly to tanks as well.
  14. You have to log in first and then set it to offline mode. So it sucks if you can't access the internet or if you're internet is crap.
  15. All aliens are armed, or at least they should be. I haven't come across any unarmed aliens ever. And I think everyone here has had this problem with the light scout. My bullets weren't hitting him so I spammed him with rockets and grenades.
  16. Are weapons going to use a percentage of AP to fire or are they going to still have a fixed amount?
