Stretch Goals from Kickstarter possible as DLC?

I was wondering/hoping to see the ideas added eventually as an expansion

or "DLC". Also, I wondered if any were reached post-KS, and will be included

in the full game. In case some have forgotten, they are:

$180,000 - Military Base terror mission tileset!

$205,000 - Tileset-specific friendly AI soldiers!

$230,000 - Motion detector!

$255,000 - Soldier Memorial screen!

$280,000 - Vehicle combat experience!

$305,000 - Pilot portraits & callsigns!

$330,000 - Proximity grenades!

$355,000 - Tall grass!

$380,000 - Human psionics and blaster bombs mod!

Those all sound really nice features, and I'd throw money at the

thought of having them!

We have tall grass. Highly flammable wheat was added a few builds ago.

Since this is such a good game, folks, I imagine, would pay for a DLC/Expansion Pack. I sure would! It could even go down as a Kickstarter campaign if Goldhawk wanted to explore the idea (trading some profit for security).

If you define "reverse engineering the main .exe" as "not too hard" then yes, I would agree with you.

With access to the source code, a good coder, and a few months of hard work I reckon most of those could be added as mods.

The only one that wouldn't technically require coding would be the military base terror missions tileset I would guess.

I say technically because it would likely still need some coding done to allow the game to generate missions specific to that new tileset.

The masks currently only have two different colour options for terror missions which are used for eastern and western town tilesets.

That may be hard coded.

There's no reason why you couldn't just add military base maps to the map pools for both existing types, though. It's not quite the same, but it's close enough compared with the effort you'd need to do it 'properly'.

That's why I said it technically didn't need coding as the tileset could be made and used without coding a specific niche for it.

It would just work better with coding.

I am not even certain if the game supports more terror tilesets and they could be added to the mask to become functional and separate from the town terror tilesets without needing code.

Drifting to mod territory though when the OP was apparently referring to official DLC.
