  1. Anyone heard when the move to integrating some essential mods will be started? Or will there still be a series of patches? Obviously, there will be no new content, but I wonder if we can expect a half year more of patches until the game gleams.

Most have txt files with instructions and/or self installers. There's also an option called "mods" when you start the game up. Maps, though, have their own section.
  3. A game like this should not punish you if you don't follow exact instructions. This is a game, not instructions for building a table. The original X-Com, while punishing, allowed you to play however you wanted yet managed to be difficult just the same. I >>NEVER<< had to read a guide to play/finish it. That is just bad design IMHO.
  4. @Max, Goldhawk "has new ideas" but won't be doing anything with those new ideas? Am I reading that correctly?
  5. I was wondering/hoping to see the ideas added eventually as an expansion or "DLC". Also, I wondered if any were reached post-KS, and will be included in the full game. In case some have forgotten, they are: $180,000 - Military Base terror mission tileset! $205,000 - Tileset-specific friendly AI soldiers! $230,000 - Motion detector! $255,000 - Soldier Memorial screen! $280,000 - Vehicle combat experience! $305,000 - Pilot portraits & callsigns! $330,000 - Proximity grenades! $355,000 - Tall grass! $380,000 - Human psionics and blaster bombs mod! Those all sound really nice features, and I'd throw money at the thought of having them!
  6. Backed in '10 but haven't been a forum member, really. I've tried to email Goldhawk through the "Contact Us" page, but that's not happening (no response". I'm wondering if there's a better way to contact Goldhawk to see where I stand.
