oneiwily Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 Hi all, from playing this game for more then a bit , and going threw some mods, I compared the 3 transport craft Chinook , Shrike & Valkurie .. I found out that the only difference is the amount of troops they can carry 8 , 12, 16 troops accordingly. I think that the advance transports should be faster, provide a better chance for troops to survive in case of interception (have bit of armor) .. and well if this was the beginning of the design I would suggest on the advance one a gunner or 2 to provide support on the tactical map (stationary from the side of the aircraft, just like most transport Helis have ..). the better designs can be way better .. faster craft will allow to actually have a chance to intercept a landed aircraft. Caaygun Posted February 19, 2014 Share Posted February 19, 2014 Crash sites apparently stay active longer if you target it with a dropship so as to allow interception with your chinook from across the earth, otherwise they disappear after a day.
