[V20 Experimental Build 1-Geoscape] CTD when modifying troop loadouts

Recommended Posts

Got the new update, started right into a new game. When I went in to modify my soldier's default loadouts it started crashing to my desktop. The one I could replicate was where I'd change rifleman default loadout, and then go to another rifleman who's loadout needed updating and it'd CTD when I clicked his name. There were also some others that I'm not entirely sure what I did, but I was attempting to manually change all the loadouts without changing the default to circumvent the bug. Regardless, the game doesn't seem to want to let me change my crew's initial setup, and as such it is kinda a big bug for me as that kills my ability to continue on with the game. I'm running with no mods, my save file can be found here.

I have had it happen once or twice. It seems quite random. Just clicking between soldier names seems to be when it happens for me.

Also: sometimes I cannot click back from my embarked soldier list to my unassigned list, and vice versa. Going out of the equip screen, then back into it resets this though.

Here is a save to try out:

I have just got some new troops at australasia base.

I have had the lock up two times in a row.

Top soldier changed to commando

Second to heavy

then I clicked through the remaining ones quickly, to find a suitable assault, but I end up with two names highlighted and frozen.

I was clicking on the names to select.

I have the same problem.

I started a new game and wanted to change my soldiers role to rifleman and sniper.

I didn't change anything in the roles layout, and the weight wasn't above normal.

The game only crashes when i change the roles.

I can change loadout and weapons without problem, just not the roles :(
