  1. There's a game in development called Isomer which KIND of does that. It's basically a blend between Dwarf Fortress and XCOM where you play as the aliens.
  2. Have you taken a peek at how accuracy is calculated? I'm thinking specifically at this.
  3. I've had it happen alot, but I guess it's related to the new weight system. As soon as I made a new role with much fewer items the problem appears to have fixed itself.
  4. Correct, here's another excellent example. Image is a bit blurry oddly enough, but chance to hit is 28% with aimed shot. Edit: Right-click and open the image in a new tab in case you want a better view.
  5. I have the same problem. Have tried to circumvent the CTD somehow but no matter what I do, every savefile after that Terror Mission gets corrupted.
  6. I will have to join in and agree. I was looking forward to playing the latest release but this atrocious Hidden Movement have made me lose interest. Was hoping it would get fixed in the last patch but apparently it wasn't. Think I'll just wait until it's fixed before I start playing again. It's incredibly frustrating.
  7. When you try to build a Corsair the game crashes. I have the 4.1 version, and then downloaded the same updated one and overwrote the old files. My vehicles still have 60 hitpoints though so I'm thinking of restarting to see if the problem persists.
  8. Not quite, this would go one step further. I mean the soldier's entire movement grid so you can immediately see your options and plan your tactics around that, instead of having to click to find out how far he can go.
  9. Is it possible to get a coloured movement grid around a soldier each time you select him, so you can immediately see how far you can go and what you can do? Green and yellow would mean he could move and shoot, with the latter at lower accuracy, and red to show that he is only able to walk there. This would make it much more faster and easier instead of having to calculate TUs. I'm aware that you can lock TUs so you can reserve it for shooting.
  10. Yes, I can confirm that the game immediately crashes when trying to engage in ground combat. Air combat seems fine though.
  11. If I remember correctly, saving a game with a UFO or terror mission up will cause the game to crash when you load it.
  12. Sad to hear that. Was kind of surprised at first when you wrote that the game went smoothly, but I guess you just had a lot of luck. The current version is, to be honest, quite unplayable, atleast for longer sessions.
  13. Might as well pop in and say that I have the same problem as anyone else. Seems like it's affecting everyone right now.
