Jrockity
Right, sorry. Didn't mean to cause problems. I just like talking to mod creators directly when I have questions. Nothing wrong with "necroing" this thread, someone else might have the same question and plus it makes this mod more visible to people who are new. Jsleezy
As mentioned in a few messages back, the link that is working is "Armour Compilation". It contains all the armours I've made so far. I can't seem to delete the old links from the site.
Jsleezy
Update: I have uploaded a version of the armor compilation into the Nexus. The game is still waiting approval. I will update again once the link becomes available. Update: Here is the link: http://www.nexusmods.com/xenonauts/mods/1/? Dead Dread
Awesome, This and real portraits are the first 2 mods i install every time i reinstall the game :-)
KevinHann
Is there a difference to the previous mod link or you are just refreshing accessibility? I'm not missing on something juicy here, am I?
Jsleezy
The previous hosting site went down, so yeah, this is just for accessibility. However, I am also working on the Predator Armour. I'll have that one ready in a week or so.

silencer
There are some soldiers whos hands color doesn't match the face color when using your Portrait mod. It's not big deal but it looks quite odd/funny when soldier has light white face and light brown hands.
Jsleezy
Ah yes, sometimes it's hard to match the skin pigment. Only other option is giving everybody gloves. It's an easy fix if that's what people want.
Big Z
I'm sure you've heard it all a dozen times already, but your work here is amazing. The detailing on the Jackal gear is fantastic, and if I ever see another bucket-headed default Wolf uniform I might scream. Thanks!
Jsleezy
Thanks, Big Z! Posts like this are what keep me making and updating these mods (instead of playing). Thanks so much. I really appreciate the feedback.
Akrakorn
It's come to the point where I can't play Xenonauts without your mod. Excellent work, Jsleezy.
silencer
Will you update Xenopedia images too once you finish Predator armour ?
Jsleezy
I hadn't thought of Xenopedia images. I'll look into it when I finish the Predator armour.
Irishguy117
Can I use this without using the portrait mod?
Sentelin
Yes you can.
KevinHann
Can I use this without using the portrait mod? You are an early backer and have your face included in the custom pack? Maybe Jsleezy will consider adding it in his portrait mix, too
MandozerTheGreat
I'm trying to get this to work for me and it doesn't seem to be working. Specifically I'm replacing the images as the instructions say in the comments on nexusmods for this Download the armor and place it in it's appropriate folder. Make sure you back up the file before you replace the original (in case you want to use it later). Example for Wolf Armor: C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Xenonauts/assets/soldierimages/armour.wolf You will also need to do the same for the female armor located in the "soldierimagesfemale" folder. For the install information (copied from xeno-mods site) I do this, its good. Then I start up xenonauts and the results don't seem to apply there. I even started a new game just to see if it'd apply then, maybe its my old save? No go. I'm also trying to get your Real Fighter Portrait Pack to work and Skitso's Oppresive UI. What am I doing wrong?
Jsleezy
Are you using Steam? For the Armour mod: 1. Open the file you downloaded. As an example open the folder "Basic". Open "BasicMale". Copy "armour.png" 2. Find C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Xenonauts/assets/soldierimages/ 3. Paste the copied file in the basic armour folder 4. Do this for all the armours you want to replace but do it in their specific folders. (Female armours are under C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Xenonauts/assets/soldierimagesfemale/) (Do the same for the females) For the portraits please reference the Portraits thread. You should be able to just use Skitzo's "gamecongif.xml" file instead of mine.

I just beat the game so I'm gonna start fresh when a clean Install and try that. Is there anything else I should try? Edit: Scratch the above, clean install and using skitzo's config worked. Thanks a bunch man for this by the way! Edited June 19, 2014 by MandozerTheGreat

Jsleezy
Update: I'm finally done with Predator Armour. I also added Xenopedia images for all the armours I've created. I took to long to create this one but I'm really glad on how it turned out. Here is the download link: http://www.nexusmods.com/xenonauts/mods/1/?
