Maybe I just want to jump in and play a custom battle with everything unlocked(as long as you discover it in Campaign) for my choosing and then Start Mission! Within the new Geoscape, please add any kind of notes that would change the Battlescape and affect your Xenonauts like ugly weather, war zones, and nuclear dead zones. Say North Korea launched a nuke, u could see it traveling and maybe it gets shot in mid-air or maybe it landed so a tiny circled Bio-hazard icon will be over the area it landed in. If a UFO crash lands into a dead zone, you better have Power Suits to protect you from that harmful radiation if you plan to capture the UFO. Say North Korea invaded Mexico and a UFO landed in the Warzone. you will be up against freaked out Military men and they shoot anyone they see. Small icon in the middle of the invaded country and details when you hover over the country. Maybe have an EU Civil War between Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, and MORE free-for-all brawl battling each other in madness! Funding wont change because Xenonauts is a secret World-Wide organization requiring the highest clearance so not even the president knows about it so he cant even request funding cuts. At war or not, only the oldest of elites with power AKA council member for that nation would make sure you keep getting paid if you do your job right which is cleaning up, leaving no evidence of alien unknowns. I am a little confuse. you mean the map will change as time pass by? like the water will change color and turn ugly becuse invaders contamin8ing the water supplies??? cool stufsd like that?!!?! Would also be neat to see human wars going on and as time progresss the nukes lunching and symbols showing on the map presenting destroy areas in the world. maybe times get worse. i like how the map showed anamalies so i hope it shows many other ugly going-ons like warzones and human evils big enoff to affect Xenonauts Secret Organization. i wanna play now lol im going to my pals house when beta comes out!!! dont forget to add the feature i mention for immertion. peace everyone but no peace for aliens!!!!!!!!

Wow so cool!! i also like the bottom part too. will you add city lights at night?? its a tactical screen so maybe its not realisic but its fun to show us when aliens crush in a small town city unless city tiles are only for terror sites. can't wait for mods to add tile sets for every unique country in the world!!!!! like a big district of japan and fancy city lights and stuff. its 70s i forgot and i was not born that time so i dunno but i wanna see unique set mods for majr citys.

I feel your pain but not enough to say filth to devs. im disappointed in the new xcom too, so its good the beta missed the date. they are taking time and passion making this and not rushing to keep some deadline just like the new xcom or many games we see do rushing. this means we have a better chance to have a superier X-Com remake. So you must love games that come out rushed like Dead Island because they keep the deadline the p[ublishers p[romsie. by the way i love DI game becuase of grate mods but you can tell its rushed. that was the last game i pre-ordered. never again. Now that you bought the game you need to wait or be like me dont pre-order games and wait. lucky i have friends who share my tastes for yummy good games so i play Xenonauts and the like with them hehehehe. moneyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

We should have an option to promote operatives ourselves. this way we can decide who gets a pay raise and who wont. the game can give its recommendation but mainly give me more power!! i want to promote operatives myself and when you push a high ranked operative up the rest go up by themselves or at least take you to a screen to checkmark them and give them your blessing. If its time to give an operative a medal that can happen automatically but i see the stats so i decide who or leader. this will give me more time to spend in the geoscape for base managements.

I like this!! its a alien green beret squad. so there going to be tougher then normal and maybe wear all black lol jk a normal costume or naked which alien slave race it is. they will carry many alien granades and heavy plasmas!!
