  1. I am playing with XCE version 34. And I am having the same problem with NONE as Techmago. I do find the alien fighter and make it one of mine. SO now I have an alien fighter to fly....really long range but mostly a lot like my fighters. But a lot smaller in the hanger...too bad hangers can only hold one flying thing.... I did notice one thing...I went thru your XMLs and noticed in the manufacture.xml that some items are labeled as Extraterrial (spelling)...these items may be the ones labeled as None as there is not Extra'l listing in the Workshops.
  2. Not sure which one to put this bug report on....\ Order of Choice XMC Parts in Priority is 1=1, 2=2, 3=3, 4=4, 5=5, 6=6. My problem is that several workshop projects are listed as NONE--they each have man-days to build and some have Alien Alloy requirements . . just started this mod...seems interesting except the NONE build projects. Also the None Projects show up in their own area on the bottom of the list with no group shown (like Aircraft, Weapons, etc.,)... I Downloaded all within the last 3 days and they all have my download date are the origin date...so I still don't know if I have the latest since that date probably does not match the date you put on the upload. Maybe the date could be in the modinfo.xml?? BTW::: The follow is not part of the problem!! Oh, I know you have the money on 2000000 but that seems a bit tight for me. That's not even enough to outfit the starting base. Why have living quarters to hold a 100 when the base can only have 50 Engineers/Scientists...certainly don't need 50 combat troops. Of course, if you up the number of scientist the Lab can hold and Engineers the Workshop can hold you may need the larger living quarters (the fit in 100)?
  3. Could you put version numbers so we can tell if we have the latest versions.
  4. If you say that the sells are to the funding governments--than it would supplement the funding not offset it. Another way is to make the sale price the same as the manufacturing price at least than the sell of excess items would not be a money loser. Which is now is. And sometimes you run short of money big time--so much so that it seems STUPID especially after it is obvious that the Earth is being invaded. And there is an organization fighting that invasion. I would suspect that funding would increase considerably due to public pressure for protection from the TERROR missions of the Aliens.

My problem is that I cannot build anything because EVERYTHING advance tech requires alien alloys and I cannot get enough to make the stuff...now if I could produce alien alloys I could start making stuff....but no matter how much research you have available you cannot research making the alien alloys. As of now all the engineers can make is old tech stuff (stuff that does not require alien alloys). Other than that they'd be sitting around tiddling their thumbs. Attacking every downed UFO still does not get me enough alien alloys to make more than 1 low alien alloy requiring item per TURN.
  6. Sorry I don't see a link to download Ver.0.98.2.7. I see all the other versions but not the .7 one.
  7. I have tried to download the Nexus version (0.98.2.7) but it does not download (at least 5 tries all failed). Is there somewhere else to download it from...
  8. One change that would be nice. Captured aliens could be SOLD for profit instead of merely executing them. (Except psion.) And stuff that is not used for something could be immediately sold so they don't clutter the inventory... and don't need to keep everything thinking it might be useful??? Capturing aliens risks the lives of soldiers and to get NOTHING for capturing an alien would be a waste. Perhaps even making more medical stuff available for research using captured aliens.
  9. What I am looking for is a mod that allows me to change the order of the troops displayed when they go on a mission. I like to put my assault troops in the area nearest the exit but the game insist on doing the order differently. Just switching the positions does not work is there a way to change the ORDER the men are brought up...right now every time I do combat I have to physically pick the soldier I want to move instead of him being picked in the order I want.
  10. Yes, please make a single mod entry so we don't have to download every version and re-install every time we have to do a re-install.
  11. It showed up as a .php file. After I downloaded it I changed the file type to zip and it worked. Now I have the 4 folders. Thanks.

I also have a problem researching Landing Ships...how long after you capture one do you get to start disassembling them...I've captured about 7 now and still no results in being able to disassemble them. I've already finished researching enriched Alien alloy and enriched Alenium. And plenty of advanced weapons...but still no sign that Landing Ships research will ever finish. Landing Ship research is not something I can give to my scientist to research it is suppose to be automatically researched. Ops WRONG forum topic...sorry.
  13. When I download Out of the Sun v1.12.zip I do NOT get the 4 pieces specified...I just the XNT patched (Listed as 5 in list)...I do not get 1 thru 4 with author podbelski.
  14. Installed HF4...what did you change about the armor pick...don't see any difference...maybe it will show up when I actually have more than 2 armor choices. Hay, now I got 3--Basic, Wolf and Fox. ALSO...noticed that some things you make cost more to make than they sell for and some sell for more than they cost to make. Although the logic is beyond me right now (insomnia sucks). Can make a hefty profit making next gen shotguns for 12K and selling them for 17.5K...especially while you wait to find something to research or wait for stuff to show up so you can make items. Got to keep the mechanics BUSY...now if there was something to keep the scientist busy when no research is available. After going thru 30 scouts a corvette FINALLY showed up...but it never went over land...bummer. Two more showed up before one went over land. Now I got some research to do... Shooting down UFO's over water gets you nothing to research or recover, but it beats the penalty for not shooting one down. <edit>I like this mod it gives more variety than the basic game.</edit>
  15. Well, the wait worked. That and somehow I copied your scripts file and some other files into my CE .32 Base Mod folder???? Must have slipped the mouse when I moved the files into XDivision folder. I have eye problems so it's hard sometime to see what I'm doing (5 eye operations so far). I've had to buy a large monitor (32inch) so I can continue using a computer. I also use large print and reduce it back to normal before I post messages. Now how do you people make money making things???? I noticed that it cost more to make things than to sell them. You guys using some mod that increases the sell price of items you make??? <edit> Have not installed HF4 yet. But I noticed in the description that you made picking armor easier . . . sure hope that's true as it can get difficult to know which armor I have available with every armor possible listed and the mouse being the only way to move the armor list which also moves which soldier your putting the armor onto.</edit>
  16. Okay..I wait patiently (yea me patient?????). BTW I cannot find a CE.32HF3...the only ones I see are HF2 in the download files.
  17. Just did that (erase the two lua files from the script folder) and it still doesn't show the men . . I will try again later and double check that the two files are gone . . . I only use map files and files that modify the map files (such as new cars--which adds more types of cars to the maps) also . . but not any other types of files. <edited>Just now checked the scripts folder in the XDivision folder and the two files you mentioned are not there but I still have the problem with a new start. </edited>
  18. Let me explain....it is not deleted it is DEACTIVED when I launch the launcher while in the Steam folder. I think there is a setting you have to make to avoid steam doing that. SO I did a FULL INSTALL...copying the Steam version with the workshop mods I wanted and moved it to another folder. Then installed the X Division mod. I found the install order after I posted. I followed the install order but now I have a problem....I'll reread the install order to see if there are any additional or missed instructions...but now the screen where you outfit the soldiers is empty...it's there but no men are shown. I've had this problem before but I don't remember how I solved it...I remember it was simply but not what it was.
  19. I am trying to do a new install of this mod but Steam is being uncooperative. It keeps deleting this mod. What order do I install this mod. How do I install this mod so Steam does not delete it. 98.2? Or do I have to install others first. Hotfixes? each one or just the last one? I think I read just the last one.
  20. Later in the game the backpack is too small...that is...The men/women can carry more equipment than the backpack has room for. When every slot is full and the men can still carry more weight. Would it be possible to change the orientation of equipment in the backpack...example the baton might fit better if it could also be in the backpack vertically instead of horizontally. On another note...I've discovered that the captured equipment that disappears from the backpack/hands of my men also does not appear in the loot. It mostly occurs with blood based rifles/carbines,etc., it is disconcerting to suddenly have your men who are armed with captured equipment suddenly being unarmed and having to spend TU's to equip with stuff in their backpack.
  21. Since only I have reported a CTD when trying to access the vehicle outfit screen maybe no one else has this problem. I have already included a saved game in an earlier reply to Krages Additional info if needed. In earlier games (non X-Division) I have had CTD when accessing the vehicle outfit screen but only when I've been building stuff for that location's screen...now it all the time.
  22. Unfortunately it shows all the possible armors even if you have none produced. I've had the same problem with armors. Only my resolution is 1980x1080. Make that 1920x1080.
