Not all field medkits are big in real life
Maybe there could be two sizes available, one small one that can only e.g stop small bleeding and such, and another bigger one for the real medic that can also restore hitpoints and remove more serious status effects?
It has been a while since i played it but if i remember correctly you had to carry a person in your weapon slots. That would be the most correct position for someone. In the backpack seems so wrong...
This is a fair point, and I'm about to patch it so that Lasers have half the recoil of other weapons (you can assume the remainder is spinning magnets destabilising the weapon or something).
It's always nice to have separation between the different tiers of weapons. If it causes balance issues we can tweak something else about the Lasers to compensate.
