Sathra Posted June 12, 2013 Share Posted June 12, 2013 Geoscape UI is being redone, and new UI should be in the next build. We'll see how it works, since its all a bit of a mystery. The crash-trails got removed for the sheer amount of work each involved (I think). They have to be made for each terrain type, for each ship, and the old ones can't be re-used since UFO's work differently now than the time those screenshots were taken. I'm sure there must be a talented artist or two that would provide such a thing if there is? Even if there is not it's a shame but I do see where they're coming from at this point. Are these 2d textures or can someone post raw images from the games files so one can see what needs to be done in order to create static background art ? I dont have XN installed atm.
