Chris
There are wrappers some people have tried that seem to work, but I wouldn't pre-order the game based on those. Maybe wait until a demo and test that. We'll look into a port after release.
Aleksi
I work on Mac, and use Bootcamp for gaming. Windows 7 works perfectly, and so does Xenonauts. This is the most secure way to play this game on a Mac for the moment. I tried using Crossover Games, the result isn't very good. So either go with Bootcamp, or wait for an eventual ported Mac version. Edited December 5, 2011 by Aleksi

Coma
This is a 2D game, so you can run it in a virtual machine.
Aleksi
This is a 2D game, so you can run it in a virtual machine. No, not necessarily. Even though it requires less CPU and GPU than a 3D game, issues still can be detected. From my experience, it doesn't work well with Crossover Games nor booting Win7 with Parallels Desktop 6. The only way i found to have a perfectly working game was natively booting under Windows, via Bootcamp.
Coma
It should work fine with VMWare. Crossover Games isn't virtualization.
Aleksi
It should work fine with VMWare. Crossover Games isn't virtualization. VMWare doesn't support certain audio interfaces, like mine. So, it doesn't work for me. ;-)
