anotherdevil Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 not at the moment mate, it's only for pc for now. In the future... well maybe
Chris Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 There are wrappers some people have tried that seem to work, but I wouldn't pre-order the game based on those. Maybe wait until a demo and test that. We'll look into a port after release.
Aleksi Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 (edited) I work on Mac, and use Bootcamp for gaming. Windows 7 works perfectly, and so does Xenonauts. This is the most secure way to play this game on a Mac for the moment. I tried using Crossover Games, the result isn't very good. So either go with Bootcamp, or wait for an eventual ported Mac version. Edited December 5, 2011 by Aleksi
andrix10 Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 Alright, I just wanted to know if u gonna eventually port it to Mac, I use it for college so it would be cool to play it while waiting for my classes, but I still have pcs that I game at home, so I think ima get it
Coma Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 This is a 2D game, so you can run it in a virtual machine.

Even though it requires less CPU and GPU than a 3D game, issues still can be detected. From my experience, it doesn't work well with Crossover Games nor booting Win7 with Parallels Desktop 6. The only way i found to have a perfectly working game was natively booting under Windows, via Bootcamp.
Coma Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 It should work fine with VMWare. Crossover Games isn't virtualization.
Aleksi Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 It should work fine with VMWare. Crossover Games isn't virtualization. VMWare doesn't support certain audio interfaces, like mine. So, it doesn't work for me. ;-)
