Bobit
This change makes it very difficult to move all of your soldiers quickly. Before it was just 12345678 and you click in between. Now you need to refocus the camera on where you want to move the group to. It's a lot more work, it seems like if you want to move the whole group to the same place, it now takes 15 seconds instead of 5. Max_Caine
Would you prefer this as a default behaviour, or as something optional? Or perhaps have the on-focus camera pan be the optional behaviour?
Bobit
Better as an option, but this should be the default imo.
Max_Caine
Thinking about this, there's an ongoing bug where there are issues with queuing up commands into a specific tile. It may be fixed for V5, but if that fix means no more queuing up commands then is there much point in being able to keep the camera fixed to one location? Bobit
I agree, there wouldn't be much point. But they got it to work in X1, don't see why it would be more difficult in X2. At worst they could always have queued movements wait until the other movements have completely finished. Chris
Yup, the intention is the control system should work like it did in X1 for this sort of thing. I didn't actually realise that it was different so thanks for pointing it out, I imagine this is a very simple update.
