windex Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) Just happened to me I was chasing (tailgating) UFO 1 and after following it to land over Russia I click on the UFO again to set it to engage and realized I couldn't or did have to so I hit cancel to close the window, it continued to follow a little more and suddenly the screen went black (my whole monitor) for about 3 seconds and CTD with the typical windows: this program stopping working error. At this point don't know if it matters but I am running windows 7 64bit with an ATI video card ( latest 7970, with latest drivers). I do know that certain games have problems with ati drivers and sometimes they are picky about nvidia but maybe setup has nothing to do with it since we 're only using standard VGA features at this point?
