  1. HOW DID YOU ENTER MY BRAIN? I've been running a D&D game with this exact concept (based on Firaxis X-COM, 'cause that's what my players are familiar with) for almost a year now.
  2. I never noticed the original thread. Seeing this now, I am in physical pain from how much I want it. The appearance and mechanical niche are both great, and the Xenopedia entry you put together in the OP is (like every Xenopedia entry you've done) spot-on; the mixture of sarcasm and information is perfect.
  3. Oh, yeah, there it is. Thanks, don't know why I didn't notice that before.
  4. I mess around with mods and stuff because it's kinda fun and I really like the feeling of successfully making far too many mods work together. Anyway, I'm just now back after not touching Xenonauts for a few months, and this Modular System seems neat, but I'm having some trouble working it out. Is there a tutorial or a FAQ or something somewhere that I just didn't notice?
  5. Sorry to bother you, but I'm messing around with combining this mod and some others (strictly for personal use; I would never distribute your work), and I wanted to know what you altered in researches.xml, if you don't mind telling me.
  6. Khall, I've been having the same install issue as you were above. Did you find a solution?
  7. Cool, thanks. I was just asking because I'm just starting a new playthrough now and looking at mods I haven't used before.
  8. According to above the OP was last edited July 31st. Has this mod been updated to deal with UFO AI in 0.26? Sorry to bother you.
  9. I like it! This was one of the features I missed most when I migrated from X-COM to Xenonauts. If you don't mind me going on a slight tangent, wasn't there a thing on the Kickstarter page saying they might have done something like this for pilots if they had reached enough funding? Will do you anything like that as well? EDIT: Didn't notice this thread was almost a month old until after I posted. Sorry 'bout that.
  10. Cool. I'll give it a look, I'm always down for reading something written by a stranger on the internet. Although to be honest I usually prefer reading (and chortling at) fanfiction for things I don't like. Are you going to be posting here again when you update, or is up to us to keep abreast of your work?
  11. You could self-publish. One of my favourite books ("The Best Laid Plans", by Terry Fallis) was released on the internet as a series of podcasts by the author before a publisher picked it up. Later it won the Stephen Leacock Award, and this past January the sitcom based on it premiered (admittedly, it's on CTV, but still).
  12. I like it! Always nice to have something to read. A question, on another topic; is your name "Feather-Wing-Love" or "Feather-Win-Glove"?
  13. Not Solver, though. He is forbidden. What is the Evil Shed? It must be before my time. Is it anything like The Dread Gazebo?
  14. This has been mentioned a few times before. As far as I know, it either can't be done or won't due to time constraints.
  15. That statement is a fallacy. Everyone who's taken the time to bitch about it thinks the weapon tiers suck.
  16. I just started watching that (at the insistence of my friend's dad; he just pushed a stack of blu-ray discs into my hands and told me to watch) and that is spot on. I am hyped beyond belief by this revelation.
  17. Honestly, that sounds like the best solution, especially if what kabill said above is true.
  18. It's from the webcomic Hark a Vagrant ( www.harkavagrant.com ) and it's supposed to be Jules Verne and Edgar Allen Poe. Here's the original.
