Post a bug report. -
In a recent mission, a seb fled up some steps to get away from my soldiers. I was unable to follow him upstairs for some reason, the game would not allow me to proceed up to the second level. When I clicked the second story button in the UI to see if I could shoot him from the bottom of the stairs, I got black textures for the second level like it was an atlas tile issue. When I pressed end turn, the seb and the entire second story level suddenly popped into view and he blasted two of my best soldiers. On my next turn, only then was a third xenonaut able to proceed up the stairs to take out the seb. Very frustrating. Sorry no save.

Wrong. C4 can be set off by a smaller explosion, or by electrical charge. It is quite stable otherwise and not much else sets it off, not even high temperatures. EDIT: Is anyone else getting crazy funding hits on the first wave? Like I got -100,000$ to just australasia alone. -
Just got back from out of town and fired up xenonauts to play the release candidate. Veteran difficulty. I got -100,000$ out of a total of 300,000$ possible funding for australasia on the FIRST WAVE, two days in. Maybe I got unlucky you say? Not when I also got -50,000$ out of 180,000$ possible for the middle east too, along with -40,000$ out of 212,000$ for north africa. What gives? Why did anyone think that losing a third of TWO region's funding in the FIRST wave was ok? This is absolutely insane! EDIT: Later waves seem to have normal funding hits, what gives on the huge funding losses on the first wave?

Do the aliens abandon missions over countries that have surrendered? It would really incentivize saving countries before they fall, as then all the pressure being put on them would be focused on your remaining regions. -

You are the head of a game development company Chris, if you say its going to be in the game they take that as a promise, regardless if you actually meant it that way or not. Like I said, just be careful about what you say and how you word things in the future. I would have liked to seen xenonauts patched for a month after release to clean up all the remaining little bugs, but if budget concerns are an issue I can understand why that is not possible. Im looking forward to your next project. -

I missed that 30% funding increase in the patch notes. So I thought it was just the income nerfs, and the doubling of base cost which would have completely screwed the early game balance that has been polished over the past few months. Can you really blame me for panicking now? I can't play, as I am out of town currently. But I can still spot something that will unbalance the game, and will remark on it if I see it. -

Wooo, broken promises. I understand chris, and honestly I would have liked to see alien morale in the game, but it's not a big deal to me if it is not. Just be aware that you did say it would be in the game and you might have more than a few upset people over it. In the future just be very careful what you promise to your players. -

What!? Bases cost 1 mil? They were expensive already at 500,000! Please revert! This on top of the income nerfs is just too much. How am I supposed to get a second base up before month 3? -

I think he is saying there is no Z axis at all when it comes to props. They exist on all levels of the Z axis and to code them to be otherwise would take too much resources at this point. I actually agree in spirit though, this should have been solved a long time ago. But you have to take into consideration that Goldhawk are an indie developer with limited funds, working with a crappy engine that they have had to fight from the start. -

Heuristics are false positives many times. I remember when I first started programming, I made a simple calculator program in C++. When I took it home on my flash drive, my antivirus went apeshit and tried to tell me that the executable was an "extremely dangerous heuristic virus". That is to say it is possible, but VERY unlikely. -

I asked for this already, along with possibly other stat boosts and the idea was pretty unpopular. Among the reasons sited was that it was too "gamey", whatever that is supposed to mean when talking about videogame mechanics. -

I agree, the limit should be 30 days, not 60 days. 1 per month is good enough. Maybe it should be 60 days on easy and normal? -
