    19.6 scimitar tank in need a buff

    It kinda makes sense that tanks need an overall buff, they use 2 soldier slots, occupy 4 tiles of the dropship and 4 tiles on the actual ground combat, so technically they are easier to hit than an actual xenonaut operative. I also kinda agree now that perhaps the operative doesnt need training, but if we allow some techologies of the tank to be upgradable via research that would probably be good in most cases.
  2. Alright, so that kinda makes sense, since they are wounded, I cant move them from the actual ship.
  3. I agree with the accuracy boost on the microrockets, I have tried to using them and they are really inefficient at the moment. Would also be interesting to remove the burst and just make it snap, to normal shot, but with reduced TU, you would still get the feel that you can use the rocket launcher multiple times because you 4 rockets ready.

    Perhaps if its not a deployable turret, we could have something similar to this: You could equip Either Rifles or Heavy guns on it About 100-120HP with about 10-15 Front plating It could have something like let´s say 80-100 reflexes When you move, you suffer an accuracy penalty

    I like the idea of depending how far you go in the research tree, some choices actually increase the overall effectiveness of the tanks. Perhaps something on the lines: Enhanced Optical lenses Enhanced Tank Plating
  7. I would love the possibility to have rocket launcher on my scimitar and on my hyperion. Oh and by the way, it´s done:
  8. This might sound ridiculous, but what if you dont want actual firepower on a tank, but instead want it to scouting unit capable to taking higher punishment than before? Then think no further, by not equipping your weapon systems, you replace them with increase plating on every single side, you want have any firepower but your tank will be a a moving barricade for your soldiers to take cover next to it.

    Something that would take 1-2 turns in order to deploy on a tile, I like the idea that it only has range to where its pointing at, so like 120 degree range at most for the turret.

    Ya, I think I should have just gone for simplified icons, instead of trying to make a matching background color for them, this way I can increase the weapon size and make the quality good enough.

  13. Thats actually an interesting mechanic, considering these guns overheat too much due to the sheer size, perhaps the secondary weapons, in this case ballistics would overheat less in comparison to lasers and plasma weapons.
  14. Remember to send the me the savefile when you can, if you have the 3 tanks on the same file it would be preferable, but if not, it´s still fine.

    Ya, I took a look at your icons, they look pretty good so far, I just decided to do something a little different taking a bit some inspiration out of your icons to do something that uses the artwork of the game and making icons fitting each of the weapons and some miscellaneous equipment.
  18. For some odd reason, I have installed the mod, but it doesn´t seem to have changed any of the values of the tanks, maybe I am doing something wrong?

    I would also love to be able to see this in the dropship, sometimes you have soldiers that have the same weapon, but they have different roles altogether .
  21. Bro, if you have a savefile with these vehicles currently unlocked, I could try and run a few missions demonstrating your vehicles in a high quality video.
