  1. Make a multiplayer (MMO-like) version of Xenonauts that continiously runs in close to real time (maybe only 3x-5x faster) where players saving the world altogether, helping each other, or competing for aliens, technologies and etc., probably sometimes fight each other. It will be something new to have out there.
  2. They are actually good now. I don't know why but aliens almost doesn't try to hit them and when they do armor helps to prevent most of the damage (at least on small UFOs).
  3. The lack of minimal realism is actually just sad I was also wondering why it's impossible to send a half-refueled aircraft. Just think does the refueling *that* important part of gameplay? In my opinion the same effect could be achieved with repairing instead of refueling: remove refueling (better do it realistic like 30 minutes for example or 1 hour in the end), make engagements impossible to win without at least small damages and you're done. Attention to details matters.
  4. ISSUE: The alien interrogation description says the caesian is ordered to kill himself and commits suicide. I captured only 1 caesian, but there is also a research of caesians that requires an alien alive and of course it's weird I could do the research after the alien killed himself.
  5. I second this. I would like to split and merge squadrons on geoscape. Sometimes I split interceptors to patrol distant areas, but when an UFO is detected I want to merge them and engage. Also this.
  6. Okay, so I can't understand why can't I deploy interceptors that has less than maximum fuel?
  7. Yes, I also noted that sometimes you can't hit someone directly but getting it hit through missing shoot. This is minor but it's pretty weird.
  8. I've been playing V19SC3 the whole day today everything was very smooth until now when the game freezed. I'm not sure what triggered this but there was a ground combat on one of town in desert maps at night (I haven't recognized it). I killed a caesian on the return fire with pistol. Then another one attacked (with a burst of 3 hits from plasma rifle I guess) my tank nearby (tank was equipped with machinegun) and dealed around 40 damage when the game freezed. Tank didn't have enough TU to respond. It was the beginning of the groud combat. Hopefully this helps.
  9. Thanks for popping this question, because I believe it bothers quite much people there
  10. Allow us to 1. land aircrafts at local airports and military bases for refueling, 2. call for a tanker aircraft from local airports and military bases. This may cost money and cost may depend on the standing with the country. Technically aircarfts may reach almost any point on earth from the very beginning, it's only a matter of time and cost. As the time goes standing with countries increases, cost reduces and aircrafts become faster. Make UFOs flying slower when on a mission, they have no need to develop their maximum speed without need. Make them stay longer on their missions for balancing purposes since it may take more time to reach the location now. Let us leave aircrafts at airports and prebuilt military bases for a substaintial fee. Let aliens to 1. discover and 2. later in the game attack and destroy these bases. As a side note, not every UFO detected is meant to be intercepted. It's a hard task to detect and intercept an UFO after all.
  11. According to wikipedia long range jet transports' range isn't much longer - around 2500 miles (more or less for C-5 and C-141). Anyways F17 range is around 3000 miles, which is much closer than it is in the game. It's sad that the game isn't realistic about these values, but it looks like developers choose to sacrafice realism in favour of game mechanics.
  12. If we're talking about realism I can't understand why Chinook and fighters can't land at local airports for refueling. The earth isn't empty and your group of troops aren't the only ones left alive. Why other countries aren't trying to intercept UFOs or struggle with them? Why your base possesses the only radar on earth? Why other countries are giving millions dollars to fund you, but don't give you the cruicial information about UFOs that are being detected? Why a single police officer killed an alien from a scout UFO, but only after 5 hours when I reached the crash site, but if I didn't reach it the site was considered lost? Why all these civilians are still alive 8 hours later when I reach the other crash site and die *only* when my troops come?.. Back to the topic. Much been discussed but I'm against such tricky solutions of the problem as: terror sites only spawn near your bases or have more probability to spawn closer and so on. No, it's just cheating. The game isn't over if you lose a terror site or two. You aren't supposed to win all the time, to intercept every UFO you meet in the game and so on. Moreover, later in the game when aliens discover location of your bases, I suggest their tactics be to only attack places that are as far from your bases as possible. However I support the idea of refueling at local airports (which can be found in major cities). Don't forget that refueling takes time too and you might not be able to reach given terror or other site in time. The life is just like that: you can't have everything and at once, it's a part of a realistic atmosphere to not be able to do something. IMO, the solution to the problem it's only a matter of balancing the penalty. And also a realism: make everything as realistic and as simple as it may be, but not simpler than it must be done.
  13. Should look for the thread more carefully, but thanks for the reply, sorry I've edited my post to add more details.
  14. I'm playing Xenonauts on high resolution 2560x1440 and some items are too small on the screen. Please make text size in dropdown lists larger. As well as the weapon characteristics in soldiers equipment fold. There is an example on the screenshoot, but all dropdown lists suffer from this problem, not only the ones in the soldiers equipment tab. Please also make control panel in combat mode scaleable with the screen resoultion size, it is very small on high resolutions too. Here I added a screenshot of the combat mode that shows two more problems: 1. I can't move my Hunter off the helicopter, because the exit is blocked for some reason. 2. There is a problem with displaying a wall and a refuse bin. 3. As I've mentioned, the control panel is too small.
