Medals and bars. I feel you should be awarded a medal for a given campain (a given ammount of killing in a continent). Once you have achieved the medal you then start working towards bars. for example: Fighting in Europe: 10 missions = 1 medal Further 10 Missions = bar added to medal. etc. The key is that this is in Europe, there are a lot of continents and a Solider could complete missions in each contnent and get the acculimated campaing medal. Soliders could recieve a medal such as long service and good conduct. surviving xx months without killing civilians/property. been awarded for taking a bullet should also be noted (perhaps standing infront of a team mate on a predictable next turn shot). I think awarding medals for the ammount of kills could be classed as a little distaistfull and capturing aliens should be better than killing them. However, special achievments could/should be awarded such as bravery, good shots, healing others. In simple: Award Medals for completing xx battles in a given zone/continent. Award medals based on clean service history Award selfless acts and skillful moves (shots, healing taking a bullet)

Drones don't really function remotely or independently. To use a comparison, we are currently using 2 drone varients in Afganistan and they are controlled by real people. It would have shocking results if the drones own AI was to select its own targets once sent on a mission. The drones can follow pre-defined flight paths but that no different to the auto pilot on an aeropane. I get your meaning of drones and I guess you are thinking C&C Generals type drones and that could work and I like the idea of been able to have people in the vehicles. APC style vehicles could be the way of things.

I would rather they were just busy developing rather than updating. It could probly be proven that should someone ahve to report findings they will be more focused on providing a result rather than giving it true care. Just my take on it.

I have purchaced the Premium Alpha version and installed from DESURA last night. The initial DL failed so I started again and it filally installed. When I hit run/launch it opened the console and after I hit full game etc it just went to a black scree and stayed there, I gave it 20 mins before giving up.
