I'd prefer a EU style map but it doesn't matter too much. Crashing on a golf course sounds great. It would be good to unwind after a tough battle. Now if we could only have a crash site next to a mall with a 50% off sale going on.
Same here. Rockets were better but one had to be hit at least twice. The AP rocket worked better than the frag. Haven't killed one yet with rifle fire. Ran up to the body and it said it was an Andron Guard corpse (though the corpse picture on the ground in the trooper's "backpack" view had a Human appearance).
I believe we already have one player that has never played X-Com. It may not be good to assume we know what to do (and the controls are slightly different).
Advertising is very important. I did not know Xenonauts even existed until last month. Still, it is important to put your best foot forward from the beginning. Wowing people will generate the income and recognition.
Occupy movements in US and Europe. Arab Spring. Political demonstrations across Russia. Weird how all of this is happening at once. Any chance "something" is behind it all?
See the same bug. It doesn't matter if I click on the Intercept tab or the crash site to launch. Incidentally, I am now able to load a saved game with a crash site in it.
Not sure if this related or a seperate problem. I saved a game that had a crash site but haven't sent a Chinook to it yet. Later, when I try to load that saved game it just sits there and hangs.
In air combat it usually isn't long before my fighters have to disengage due to being low on fuel (which is annoying). When this happens I usually select retreat. When the fighters retreat they go in one of two directions: Towards the SE corner (which is fine) or towards the western edge. What often happens when they retreat west is they are going in the same direction as the retreating UFO. The problem here is that the retreating fighter overtakes and passes the retreating UFO and when it enters the UFO's zone (or cone) of fire it gets shot down. There doesn't seem to be anything I can do to prevent this needless loss.
