Zinn
I'm not sure why but it seems that after doing a mission, my people gain weight. It's not just people who have been carrying alien stuff during Ground Combat but just about everyone who participated in the mission. However, if I remove all of their equipment and re-equip it, the weight goes back to where it should be. It's probably not the highest thing on the to-do list atm but you can risk som pretty severe AP penalties for the next mission if you're not keeping a close eye on your soldiers. RulerOfNothing
It's a bug that has been noted several times, and is simply because double-handed weapons seem to be counted twice for encumbrance when the mission is over or something (although I have not checked that this occurs with people using pistols)
Okim
This is odd. It was fixed in 8.62 version IIRC. EDITED: wait a second... v. 8.9 base?? Why there is no announcement for this version?? Edited January 24, 2012 by Okim
Zinn
v8.9 is a hotfix for the various issues with 8.62, IIRC, and is likely named as such because we're quite close to getting 9.0. I just named the topic "Base" because that's where the bug is displayed.
