[V8.5 Base View] - Adding all remaining soldiers to Chinook ( non-blocking )

When I added the remaining soldiers to the squad after losing some in a mission,

the counter with availible soldiers left stayed at 1, although no more soldiers were left.

How many soldiers and/or vehicles have you added? might be a graphics bugg displaying incorrect free slots rather then something preventing you to add the last soldier.

Think someone reported this earlier and the unofficial answer he got was that there wasnt any more room despite what the game told him.

I remember asking once how many soldiers you could stuff into the Chinook and the answer was 12 (you need to not load a vehicle though). I think there was one non-fillable slot but don't remember what was said about it.

no no what he is referring to is that the number for the unassigned soldiers does not reach 0. At least I think I had that once, where I had 3 unassigned soldiers, but it said there were 4 (in the title thingy, not in the drop down list)

Is one of your soldiers wounded and displayed as such under the Personnel tab? I have a vague recollection that on the Soldiers screen, incapacitated troopers are counted as unassigned, but their names aren't listed in said category.

I believe I've seen that as well. Its like they're both unassigned and unavailable. I think EU and TFTD did the same thing however you could send out wounded soldiers in Apoc, a necessity in the early game.

I believe that wounded soldiers might work the same way as damaged aircraft. You can send them out after they have a certain proportion of health (50%), but it's a big risk
