Scoose08 Posted April 14, 2013 Share Posted April 14, 2013 Hello, I am new to Xenonauts and modding/editing but it intrests me. So I would like to start out with basics for a couple of reasons. 1. I am terrible at this game 2. I run out of money all the time. So is there anyway I can edit how much money I start with and/or how much I can sell things for. You can edit items.xml, and the relevant column is the second one (use Excel because it's easier to read than a regular .xml document). I'm not sure about editing the materials cost of things, but the sale price is easy. Be warned that you might have to re-start if you make any changes and do back up the original file. For example, a laser cell costs $1000.00 to make and sells for $1000.00. I changed the sale price to $2000.00 since they only take 24 man-hours to complete and have provided myself a reliable source of monetary income.
