That worked thank you it would appear I am a numpty and had the shield and pistol in the wrong hands.

I have searched and cant find anything on this so it may be me I have assaulters with combat shield and a laser pistol, the laser battery does not show up in my quick reload box so I tried to add the battery to my pistol in equipment view. Still a no go, so I thought it may be because I had a shield in my hand so I put that on the ground. When I done this my laser pistol dissapeared. So there are actually 2 things wrong/ I may be doing wrong here. 1. Cant reload the laser pistol 2. The pistol dissapeared when I put the shield on the floor. Could anyone help me with this please? Hello, I am new to Xenonauts and modding/editing but it intrests me. So I would like to start out with basics for a couple of reasons. 1. I am terrible at this game 2. I run out of money all the time. So is there anyway I can edit how much money I start with and/or how much I can sell things for. Any other hints tips would also be helpul to me. Thanks. Pete.

Thanks, you wouldnt believe it I start a fifth game after posting on here abd ny fifth ship was a scout that I got aleneium off. The other games I had actually gone 3 months into, maybe I am just unlucky. Thanks again for the quick replys.

I have found this impossible to come by so far, I am running with hotfix 2 V18. So far I have restarted 4 times in 4 different countrys I have tried taking alien crafts down with just cannons, just 1 missile and 2 missiles, I also havent managed to land at an alien landing site as it always takes off before I get there. Am I just unlucky lol or does this/can it be changed ot tweaked to have a better chance of the power source staying in tact. So far I have really enjoyed the game I played excom enemy unknow when it first came out on the amiga and still love the games today even if I am far from being any good at it .
