When there is a lot of UFOs, planes get damaged, and it oftentimes reach a point where there is no point intercepting UFOs until planes are repaired. One is left with just watching the screen and the clock. Repair times, in my opinion, tend to be really long. How about having an Engineering Project "Help repair planes". This would have for effect to cut down plane repair time by let's say 4% for each Engineer, which with a double size workshop would bring it close to 50% time reduction. So you can switch it on/off while standard Engineer project queue remains intact. When emergency repairs are done then Engineer come back automatically to the point where he was interrupted.
