Pataschka Posted July 23, 2023 Share Posted July 23, 2023 This mod replaces the original medals with the real ones version: 1.0 This mod changes medals to real ones (Both images and names) CitationForBravery - Blucher Order (German Democratic Republic) CitationForCurage - Medal of Merit (Federal Republic of Germany) CitationForValor - Honoris Crux (Republic of South Africa) CrimsonHeart - Purple Heart (United States of America) CruxSolaris - Star of Courage (Canada) ServiceMedal - Bronze Star Medal (United States of America) LongServiceMedal - Silver Star Medal (United States of America) DistinguisedServiceMedal - Medal of Honor (United States of America) MilitaryCross - Military Cross (Great Britain) OrderOfGallantry - Order of the Red Banner (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) OrderOfMerit - Order of Lenin (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) OrderOfTerra - Hero of the Soviet Union (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) SaviorMedal - Order of Bravery (Yugoslavia) SurvivalMedal - Order of the Nile (Egypt) ServiceMedal, LongServiceMedal, and DistinguisedServiceMedal - replace one another during the campaign, for this reason, all of them from one country of origin (USA) OrderOfGallantry, OrderOfMerit, and OrderOfTerra - replace one another during the campaign, for this reason, all of them from one country of origin (USSR) Original Medals New Medals Disclaimer: The purpose of this modification is to give the game the Cold War atmosphere to match the setting of the game, however, the author of this modification isn't trying in any way to propagate any regime or ideology. All the images for the medals were taken from the internet, they hadn't been made from scratch by me, only edited. Go to your Xenonauts assets folder (C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Xenonauts/assets/mods) 2. Unzip "Pataschka's Real Medals" folder into the /mods folder 3. Launch Xenonauts.exe 4. In the opened "Xenonauts launcher" hit the "Modding Tools" button 5. Select "Pataschka's Real Medals" string and hit "Activate" Button 6. Click "Back" button Now you can launch the game ------------------------------ This mod is compatible with anything that does not replace the same files (unless you go around tweaking them).
