GoodGuyEddy
150 mph that could really hurt. It is nothing compared to a railgun shot that you'll have to use to down new enemies. And you'll probably have those by then becouse after you can develop effective laser weapons(super conductors+powerful portable energy source) there are no more physical or scientific restrictions to stop you from desighning those. Edit: Not picking on you bud but the aliens are too badass for that.
StellarRat
Your reasons don't correspond the to the current game mechanics. If a Xenonaut can run up and engage in hand to hand with an unwilling alien because he has the correct number of AP then a vehicle can run one over if it has enough AP to reach the alien too. There is no difference. As for programming "running over" I guess that would be up to Chris. I doubt it's going to make into this version because I think they have PLENTY of work to do as it is. My understanding is that there won't be a another addition of Xenonauts so this is probably a moot argument anyway.
GoodGuyEddy
Your reasons don't correspond the to the current game mechanics. Most of those are to debunk the whole "realism" aspect of the idea. As for the mechanics: Lot's more work to be done and it's only an abstarction. There's only so much realism may be at play here. GoodGuyEddy
Is it just me or is this off topic?
Gorlom
All I have to say is that I disagree with the notion that realism automatically equals fun and "good gameplay" mechanics. And yes it appears to be offtopic but the original topic has been satisfactory addressed hasn't it?
